Sorta works
So I had a locksmith cut and program the keys. He verified I do have a remote start installed that the factory key will work. BUT the new key only locks and unlocks but does not remote start. So the remote start function of this key is misleading! Will keep yawl updated on how long the rest of the functions last.Update!! After finding a video online I have found a solution that works with this key. If you press the lock button twice (slowly) then the remote start twice (slowly) it remote starts!

Great replacement.
The keys arrived quickly. The keys and key fobs programmed easily on the first try , and work great. They feel the same quality and function like the factory ones. Great product.

Don’t buy
Easy to program but the fob will not work. Tried multiple times to reprogram and nothing. Because I had to cut the key it can’t be returned. Not great product

Worked Fine as described.
Worked perfectly, tried to get these cut at a local ACE Hardware, but they did not feel comfortable doing it. I ended up having a local Ford Dealership cut them for $25 each, which I felt was hight but did not have much choice.I had 1 original key an another after market key that was programmed by a locksmith before I started this process.I was able to easily activate these in my 2012 F150 FX4 and was able to program the FOBs without much trouble and all of the buttons worked fine.

4 hours in and no problems
So far, so good. Purchased 2 for a 2011 Ford F-250. I had 2 already but 1 would not remote unlock. I did the 3-time on-off ignition for the 2 existing keys and then put a new one in the ignition and it seemed to work. The second one I had to do several times before the locks cycled. The keys started the truck but the remote lock and unlock did not function. So, I tried the 8-time on-off ignition and that did the trick for the remote lock and unlock. Look at YouTube for the technique. It's possible I only had to do the 8-time on-off, but, nevertheless they're working now. I've not tried the remote start but I don't give a hoot about that anyway.

They work, kind of.
I needed a spare key so after checking out my options, I went with this brand based on positive reviews. With that said, after cutting and programming, both keys would start the truck ('13 F150) but neither would lock/unlock/remote start. I was able to solve this with the 8 times on/off method to program both keys. However, after a day, one key could no longer lock/unlock the truck. I reprogrammed that key and after another day, the other key stopped working. So I decided to just use one key with lock/unlock/RS enable and the spare will just have to manually unlock. Both still start the vehicle only one seems to work at a time.Other issues I find weird is that to remote start, I only have to press the RS button twice, not the lock button followed by 2X RS button. I've managed to accidently start the truck many times by putting my keys in my pocket which is not good. Also the key cannot stop the truck once remote started. I should be able to press the start button again and the truck should shut down but it doesn't. Last issue, the soft nature of the rubber for the buttons causes the alarm or other buttons to be pressed by putting my keys in my pocket so I take care not to do so until I'm far enough away to avoid activating the alarm or remote starting the truck.Pro's - Inexpensive, and kind of work once you figure out how to program the lock/unlock/rs buttonsCon's - Safety concerns with remote start not using the proper sequence and the ease of buttons to be pressed when you don't want them to be.

It works as advertised
Works perfectly. For 2013 F150 if you already have 2 existing keys programed, you wont need to go to the dealership. There are two different programming needed for each new key. The key to ignition and buttons for remote. first get your new blanks cut at your favorite hardware store. Then follow the owners manual to program the ignition to work. According to the owners manual the remote buttons should work after following the procedure. It did not for me. To get the remote buttons to work, I took one of the original keys and turned the ignition on/off about 8 or 9 times until the doors locked then pressed the unlock button on the original key the immediately pressed unlock on the new key. Then the new key worked for both starting the truck and lock/unlock, panic and remote start all worked.
