This is exactly what it claims to be, a good practice saber. It is not for competitions but it is just fine for practice and having some fun. It is well balanced and light. The blade is flexible but retains a good stiffness. The handle is slightly curved and fits very well into the hand. Overall a good buy.

In the product photo, the saber has a metallic finish all the way around the bell guard, both inside and out, with a brownish looking handle.What I received, were bright red handles with a bell guards that are sparkly bright purple on the inside.One of the reasons that I specifically ordered this product instead of many others, was because in the photo it was not brightly colored, and had a metallic finish throughout, with a white pad. I was hoping to engrave the inside of the bell guards with my group’s name, as well as the initials of each person they belong to.It’s a small nitpick because for the price, they are great practice sabers. I really like the feel of them. My group will be able to use them for practice no problem. I was just hoping to avoid gaudy colors.I don’t know if my pictures really do justice to how incredibly vibrant and bright the red is, and how sparkly and shiny the purple is.

Bought this primarily for a costume but it's so nice I might have to get back into Fencing! It did come with the red handle and sloppy painted metallic blue inner. Little bit of brake clean took the blue paint right off, wrapped the handle with leather strap, then spaced the Pommel back about 1/4 inch to get the balance where I like it. Definitely suggest picking one up for your sword bag!

I took a star off for them sending me the wrong product, but they quickly resolved my issue and were very happy to correct their mistake. That being said, the product itself is of a good quality. It is as advertised: a nice practice weapon.
