Rustins Quick Dry Varnish Clear Satin 1l

Excellent Product.In the words of another manufacturer, it simply "does what it says on the tin!".It applies easily, with sufficient viscosity to adhere to the brush but with enough fluidity to penetrate all cracks and joints in wooden structures. It then dries quickly leave to a lovely satin finish.Obviously too early to comment on longevity - bought last night and applied this morning (thank you Prime) - but this has the attributes of a high quality product.

Good quality varnish and quick drying. Upon application it has a milky appearance, so you can see exactly where you've applied it, then it dries to a nice finish.

The varnish is fantastic, easy to use and at a good price.However, from the very start the lid is impossible to get back on, even with a mallet.This started to happen after the 2nd time it was used and after the lid was removed extremely carefully and no residue was left on the lip. After 3 uses it just wont go back on.Just to reiterate, the lid from the very start was removed and replaced extremely carefully the 1st time.

Very good and easy to apply

Purchased to refresh some wood that had gotten stained over time. Looks milky but dries clear. Did 2 layers an hour apart from each other and it looks great.Glides on very easy and dried with no stress or bubbles.

The finish can be quite good, but only if you work quickly and consistently with your brush strokes....it dries extremely fast, almost as your painting it on!Also, try and use it all in one go, because if you leave it a week or so, the lid sets as if it's been superglued to the tin!

Got to say when I opened the box the can was quite a bit baterd dinks and dents everywhere, but the lid stayed on and there was no leakage, I bought the rustins product as its a trusted name and it did the job beautifully I followed the instructions to the letter using 300 grit sandpaper between coats six coats over two days giving a beautiful deep satin finish to my light oak coffe table it never looked this good when it was new super easy to apply, but make sure to give it a pretty good shaking and a good stir otherwise you will be giving a one star review because you never read the instructions, so do that first, and remember the 300 grit between coats or it will dry patchy like I said six coats over two days and I still have loads around 700mil from a litre tin my table measured 150 L × 60 w ×50 H I highly recommend this product 👌

I've used this product on many occasions, and will continue to use it again and again. Dries fast and a great finish .Your faithfully VERY HAPPY 🙂🙂🙂
