Is there any kind of warranty? For instance if it does snap through normal use?

I do not know about the warranty, but I can't imagine this tool "snapping". It is by far the favorite of my gardening tools. It is so multipurpose that it becomes indispensable . It is also very sturdy.

At the base of the blade next to the handle it has Made in Italy stamped on one side. I can barely see it in one of the photos above, but it's definitely there.

How do you sharpen the serrated edge? Mine is very dull.

You can buy a circular sharpening rod to get in the serrated grooves. Check out a YouTube video of sharpening serrated blades it’s easy

What kind of steel is this knife made of?

Dont know what kind if steel it is magnetic i am sure it is less prone to rust then most soil knifes Taken with care will last a long time It is a thick blade
