These work great. Make sure you replace the battery before it runs out. Do not leave it out when you have freezing temps. It cracks when it freezes and starts leaking. The manual actually says that too. The internals are mostly made of plastic. I use it to add water to the pool. The one left by the previous owner failed and over-filled the pool. Not sure why and how long it takes for them to fail though. So i got the two pack.

In a world full of electronic devices this is easy to use without figured out connections, WiFi, Apps, etc.I love Technology but this is what it was intended for.Simple as that.

I keep buying these for our foundation watering system and they keep breaking. Apparently they all do if you have to use it all year round like we do.Our soil is clay so we have to be consistent with foundation watering otherwise crack city. Anyways, that means I have to use this all year round so they break about once every 1.5yrs... they work until they leak.
