Is this made in america

i'm sorry to say, this is not made in america. that was the first question i had when i went to replace my old one.ther are only a few that are made in usa and they are more than $300. so they got us over a barrel, you buy this one for under $50 or the next one up is $300. that's what they mean when america does make anything anymore. we do make stuff, but its huge money and priced right out of the market. the us govt needs to step in, tax the crap out of this south east asia stuff so the price would be $150, then the us companies could compete cause they could sell alot more at a lower price. but the us companies dont see those kind of sales numbers, so its hard to compete in a free trade market. so, all in all, the answer is no.

Is the switch momentary or does it stay on?

The switch is just to test the load on the battery it is spring loaded and stays in the off position .

Will this device measure amperage in 6 & 12 volt deer feeder batteries? We have batteries that show good voltage but don’t work. Need to check amps.

It doesn’t measure amps. It puts a 100 amp load on the battery and you can see how much the voltage drops.
