This definitely is compatible with other brands of pressure cookers. Especially older models that use a thicker gasket. It'll have a tight fit. But will function seamlessly.

This fit my Crofton pressure cooker!
Previously ordered cheaper gaskets. Neither brand fit. Too large and too flimsy. Although supposedly the identical diameter. This cost a bit more but actually fits so I've turned what had become a big pot back into an actual pressure cooker. Happy wife!

Original WMF, perfect fit!
I received the original WMF seal for pressure cooker.Seller was NM212. I had doubts by looking at the price and said worst case I could return it back. I tested twice on the same day I received and no steam release and not a single drip from the edges. The box was original box and the seal had the original part number and the logo embossed on it. Perfect purchase and great deal! Thanks

Seals the deal
I bought the pressure cooker when I was living in Switzerland years ago. Brought it back with me to my home in the Rocky Mountains. Use it all the time. The seal will age and get hard. The replacement is plyable and works perfectly.
