This works better than regular sand. Been using for about a year now. Changed to sand filter because I was tired of buying filters and the process of spraying them down. New sand filter has back flush to clean the sand. We are very happy with how clear the water is using this product.

Works as expected - seems to be capturing all the little bits that collect in the pool as I had to backwash much sooner than I would have with my old playground sand that I was using in my filter, so less gunk going back in the pool.
