I bought this filter to strain tea that I make from ground up items. The paper filters will not pass the tea. I read in reviews that this filter would pass too much so I bought it and it's fine for the tea. Paper filter for coffee is far healthier as it's crucial to block the oils in the coffee. I'm experimenting with this filter for coffee and flavor, if the flavor is a lot better it might be ok to use it for coffee occasionally.

Have been using this filter for 4 years now - daily, multiple times a day. I tend to rinse it off after each use and maybe give it a more “deep clean” every month or so. It has traveled all over the world with me and is still going stronger than ever. It has to be up there with the best value items I have ever bought! Nice quality filter. I didn't like using the paper filters as it cause waste. This is well built and should last a very long time. Filters down to very fine particles.

I like not wasting resources on throw-away paper filters. Company provided scan code to video explaining alternate method (upside down) to operate Aeropress when making coffee using Mesh filter to allow more time to brew before coffee passes through filter to cup.

I have used this product since 2019 when I ordered it from Amazon. I attempted to handle it on Amazon's customer service page, via AI chat and then with a live agent. On the chat, my form was unable to send-multiple times-because the "send" button was ghosted. The live agent gave me an email for this company which did not got through because the "address was not found." I tracked down another email address and was met with the same response. Wondering if Altura will be able to resolve this matter and back up its stated warranty?
