Can it sit on it’s side?

Yes. I actually hung it from the wall on its side. But it will sit on its side as well.

Measurements if you put on it’s side?

Either 2 feet tall and 3 feet wide -OR- 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide.

Can i use this for a tv stand? Other tv stands are too short and this is the correct height i need. Not sure if it would support the weight though.

I wouldn’t. It’s good for light toy storage (what I use it for), but it’s pretty flimsy. I don’t think it would be a good idea to put a TV on top of this.
