Before I give my review, I need to give you all some context. I'm 29 Years old and been balding since I was 23. My hair only grows on the sides and back of my head but the top won't grow at all. I've considered Hair Restoration like Bosley and Hair club, each absolutely ridiculous in pricing. I heard of Toppik for about 2 years now but never given it a try. Until now.I want to add that this is definitely best used with the applicator, just pouring it on your head; you won't get it evened out and it'll most likely waste some of the product.2.) Combine this with a really solid hair spray to keep the fibers in place. They don't stick well by themselves. I'm serious. You sneeze and a black dust cloud will form and BAM! No more hair. I found it worked best by applying the fibers in portions, hair spray it, let it dry, and then apply more fibers and repeat until you get your desired look. If you keep applying it, the applicator will eventually just start blowing off the fiber you already placed.Be patient with it, once you got the rhythm down to apply it, you're golden. I'm not sure how this will do on longer hairstyles but I personally went with something more realistic and kept it short, at about a 2 or 3 on top. Used my clippers to fade out my sides and the magic came about. I have hair now. This product seriously helped me out with my balding. And I mean I was straight bald on top, with the whole horseshoe thing going on. Hated it. Couldn't get used to the full bald head thing either. Now matter how many times I've tried over the years. I even purchased myself a 2nd, bigger bottle to have as a back up.To my surprise; despite how much I thought I used with the applicator, wasting some product trying to get the right way in applying it without the applicator blowing off my hard work, but I only used about 15% of the bottle. Now that I know how to put it on, I'd imagine I'd use alot less of the fibers than I did on my first use.Overall; this product is a great alternative if you don't want to spent thousands on hair restoration surgery. You'll get a nice, clean, full head of hair that looks real too.Trust in the process.

I only wish I knew about this product sooner! My hair has become thinner and thinner over the years to the point where you can see my scalp on the top of my head. I have dark hair and fair skin, so the scalp really stands out. I don't have any hair loss, just a thinning of the hair strands as I get older. I was starting to get self-conscious about it as it would show up in photos and had become so noticeable. I've been dealing with this for the last five years or so, until I found this product. I am very low maintenance. I thought of trying Minoxidil, but the commitment and overall pain in the patootie of having to apply something everyday for a period of time with no guaranteed results seemed fruitless (not to mention the potential for having more unwanted body hair!). I was even considering looking into Bosley, but having hair restoration surgery seemed so over the top (not to mention incredibly expensive). Then I tried Toppik. It works! It takes about one minute or less to apply in the morning and stays put all day. Looks natural. Covers the scalp and blends in with the hair (it needs hair to blend with - this product would not work on someone with a chrome dome). I bought the ball applicator that puts the product exactly where you want it (especially as I like to keep my natural part showing, but use the product to cover the other areas of the scalp I don't want showing) and would highly suggest doing this. I've had no mess in the bathroom ever using this product. You do need to spray it in place, but any hairspray works - you don't need the Toppik spray. I have dark brown hair but use the medium brown color and it works great - I'd suggest going a shade lighter as this works for me. My only concern with using this is that I haven't been out in the rain yet, but am curious/scared of what might happen! Otherwise it stays put, looks natural, and no more going bald in photos! This has become a "can't live without" product. I've been using it for over a month now and I can say it's changed my life. Try it!

Being that my hair has been thinning on the top over the past few years, and because of that I dreaded taking pictures due to my scalp becoming more visible. So, I found this to help hide some of the thinning areas. And, overall, this product does help! It has helped to cover those areas and my scalp is no longer showing through my hair. I have appreciated Toppik for minimizing my anxiety with my thinning hair.Using this product can get messy in that the fibers due tend to get everywhere as you are applying it to your scalp. I have been laying a towel down over my sink area when I apply the fibers to help reduce the mess.

Great product. Does the job. Does take some practice to perfect it. Would buy again.
