durable and awesome
I've had this horn hanging down from under the front bumper on my Jeep for almost a year now, and it still works like a charm! It's seen Moab mud, Colorado mud, snow and ice, and definitely done its share of honking. I'm honestly surprised it hasn't died from exposure by now. Also I'm pretty much always looking for a reason to honk this thing, because it still makes me laugh every time. Usually, any bystanders will chuckle and wave too, so it's like therapy for everyone! More people should have this horn.I wired it directly to the OEM horn leads at the bumper, that way it works with the factory horn button on the steering wheel.

DO NOT PURCHASE: Poor Durability and Customer Service!!
I purchased this horn, had it professionally installed, and it worked great for 4 months! Then it started to not work when it got hot. Finally, 2 months later it died. I had the wiring checked and there is nothing wrong with the installation. The device just does not hold up. I called Amazon and they were no help on getting me a replacement. Finally they gave me the website for the manufacturer. I left them some feedback and 2 weeks later have not heard from them. I told Amazon not to sell this product any more. If you are reading this, they still are. I strongly suggest you NOT purchase it!

Sounds perfect
I installed this horn in a matter of minutes. Does'nt hurt that I am an automotive electrician by trade but it was very easy. I adjusted the screw on the back of the horn to dial in that perfect sound and I could'nt be happier. All i added was a relay, fuse, and a nice little momentary switch. I installed it on a 2000 silverado on the passenger side because there was plenty of room. I have read a few reviews saying that the horn did'nt last very long but it's been an hour and so far so good :)

Il like it
Recently I bought the FIAMM 66059 OOGA Horn - 12 Volt "Old Fashioned Sound", I decide for this one specifically because of the FIAMM brand, is an old and recognized brand that I'll been using for years in my cars, but in the envelope that comes, even in the horn , theirs no brand on it, impossible to know, I don't know if a pay for the brand or any brand. Besides of that, the instalation was easy, blows and sound great as promise, priceis right, the delivery time was on time. If you want to enjoy with your friends, specially with your children, I'll recomended this one.Fernando R

We love this horn... perfect for a Nissan Cube...
Our Nissan Cube had a horn that was, simply, weak... Not even weak... a bike horn has more volume when sounded... so we purchased this horn... We LOVE it... the hard part about installing it... disconnecting the Nissan wires... Once that happened (with taking this and that apart), I easily hooked it up and it worked right off of the bat... great sound and everyone loves it... We don't sound it for extended periods, just the necessary touch to make it OOGA....

If you're wondering which Ooogah horn to get -
I'm been putting aftermarket horns (well, had Ziebart guys install aftermarket horns - I'm no mechanic) on my cars for years (all new Toyotas). On my 2005 car (Avalon) the first one failed after 2-3 years, so I replaced it, and it held up. When I traded in for a new car (2010 Avalon), I put on the Wolo again, along with three other aftermarket noisemakers. (I have a little too much fun with all these.) Unfortunately, the Wolo Ooga horn that time lasted only about 14 months. It was nice and loud, but not really the sound I remember from the antique cars. SO, I ordered the FIAMM Ooga horn. I can't speak to the durability just yet - only been installed about two weeks - but it sounds less convincing than the Wolo. With either, you have to time it just right, just a certain length of push, to get the sound we all know and love. If this one holds up, great, I'll keep it. If it conks out, I'll buy another Wolo, or try yet another brand. In short, this horn is fun, but I'd try one of the others.Later follow-up - I've had this horn for almost two years. It held up better, but if you don't use it fairly often it sounds really sick and anemic. I wouldn't buy this one again, but it does seem to be pretty durable.

It's big - but works great!
This thing is huge - most newer vehicles are unlikely to have space under the hood for it..But that's the point though isn't it? It's for old cars. Installed quickly and easily - but I did have to fashion a bracket for it since the original horn mounting spot didn't work. Makes the full "aaaaoooogah" sound like you want - but as far as it being loud? I'm not blown away. I have a pretty loud vehicle so that's partly to blame...
