I wasted my money! It was soooo disappointing to wait for these to arrive with the anticipation of a delightful creama topped cup of coffee and NOT get creama at all ! The rich tasty creama Nespresso machines produce is why I own one after all so not getting any in my cup using this pod was quite disheartening. I saw demos of the various stainless steal pods available and ordered a Mr. Barrista one. I'm glad cause this plastic one is going in the trash. SAVE YOUR MONEY Y'all, don't buy this plastic one

I gave this to my mom who has the Essenza. Now we both have reusable coffee pods. I think having these as reusables is really important - less waste for sure. Plus, a bonus I had not thought of when I bought my own: You can customize your coffee blend the way YOU want it. Me? I add a tiny bit off instant hot chocolate - just a little - to mellow out some of the notes in my coffee. My mom likes hers with cinnamon, so she sprinkles a little in. We both like that we can have our custom blends at the ready. Mom says these are really easy to clean, too.

Looks like a great way, but I found that no matter what grind I was using or how much I used, I couldn't get a proper amount of foam. Which is the very reason to own a Nesspresso in the first place. I think the problem is that the lid has too much surface area for the coffee to come out, which limits the pressure extraction level to the point it can't produce enough foam. While more of a pain, I am going back to my seal pod lids which do produce foam, since the holes are made by the machine.

I love using my own espresso roast, but cleaning these is a bit of a chore. You have to let them dry before you can remove all of the used coffee grounds

I like the idea of these and they are sturdy and will last, but I just found that it's not worth it to me to go through the trouble offilling my own espresso.

I tried them several times with different espresso coffes and all the time it came out watery, or not like the pods that come strong and foamy. For this reason I threw them away... Thanks

This is a great alternative to buying pods. I use a Nespresso Pixie and they don't get stuck in the unit like cheap off brand pods that I have used. My recommendation is to ground the coffee really fine and use an expresso type coffee that is strong. While other reviews have complained about cleaning the pods out; I just run them under a faucet of running water with the garbage disposal on.

They hold coffee and close and stay closed and all but really, the coffee is very weak, with no crema. I think I am spoiled by the crema of the real nespresso pods. These do work but the coffee just isn't that good.
