Unbelievable Capability for an Unparalleled Price
Let me start this off by saying that I've never held the quality of Behringer products in the highest regard. That said, Behringer does seem to have a particular knack for making products with features which people NEED at a price that is affordable. With this unit, I've got an unbelievable feature-set and the quality does seem to be there (after several months of continuous use, I've had zero reliability issues) at at an amazing price. In addition to this unit, I also own an XR12 and I would highly recommend this unit for anyone. The positives: there are way too many to list. Just look at the feature set and see if anything else comes even close to the price--nothing comes close. The audio quality is excellent. The features are great. There control options (this is really what I wanted in this unit) are unparalleled. Behringer definitely did it right with this baby. The negatives: There are very, very few and they are exceedingly minor. Nevertheless, here are a few things I have noted.-- The lack of the ability to do time-alignment which I understand the X32 has (admittedly the X32 is in a different class than this unit, but they're apparently both based on the same core hardware). Even that is minor though because I've found a way to work around that with the built-in effects.-- Another that MIGHT be considered a downside is the Wi-fi. In any critical live situation, I make sure to have a hard-wired connection to the unit, but I have seen others complain about flaky connections with the Wi-fi. Personally, I think that's just the nature of Wi-fi and not the fault of this unit.--The software is different for the iPad and on a computer. Both offer really robust control over the unit, but they aren't the same and it can be difficult to find settings if you're using one platform and move to the other.Other than that, if you're thinking about this and the features meet your needs, don't hesitate, just buy it.

It's an amazing unit all around
Been using a friends for about 6 months, finally bought my own. It's an amazing unit all around. What sets it apart is the features/performance/value for the dollar, and its form factor. I put mine in an 8 spc.rack with a splitter snake for an independent monitor rig. For me, that's much better than a desktop style. Software isn't as intuitive as the Mackie stuff, but you can do more with it, and once you learn it, it's very powerful.I started working on large consoles and separate monitor/stage mixing 25 years ago. If you had told me that the 10 huge racks of equipment, boxes of cables, extra people, tons of weight and the truck it all came in, would be replaced with a unit the size of a shoebox - I'd have never believed it possible. I'm constantly amazed by the digital revolution. One piece of advice - I'd strongly recommend an investment in a very good 5G WiFi AC router and use it in place of the onboard Behringer WiFi solution. Behringer's works... But it can be very buggy in live environments and cluttered WiFi areas. The reception is spotty, and the throughput is molasses slow. Not their fault, just that the onboard WiFi is very basic to keep costs down. The unit's ability to communicate is vastly improved with a better router placed away from walls and other electronics.I'll add more as I get further into it. So far, I love this box.

Behringer does it again
The more behringer gear I get the bigger of a fan I become.I know sometimes behringer gets a bad reputation, especially if you compare quality to some of its competitors. But one thing they’ll never beat behringer on is value.By far behringer is the best budget friendly brand when buying music/sound gear. This mixer is a testament to that. There are endless things you can do with this machine and software. The biggest shock for me was finding out not only is this an 18 input digital mixer with built in effects, but it is also an 18 input audio interface… that’s right! When you plug this thing into your DAW it will recognize 18 separate channels of audio. At this price that is just absurd. Not to mention it’s extremely sturdy and functional for whatever situation you need it in.
