The positive reviews were right
Purchased this based on good reviews I've seen so that I could replace some Echo line that seems to just fall apart on me (in fairness, I've had that line for a few years). Used it for the first time this morning and it worked like a champ. I don't usually leave reviews but this warranted doing so.

Lifesaver for Tackling Tough Yard Work
Let me tell you about my Ego trimmer with that eye-catching high-viz orange string. So, there I was, running low on string and decided to grab this as a backup. Fast forward to today, finally getting back to the yard chores after what felt like endless days of rain. Picture this: dandelion weeds with thick stems, about an inch wide, and Bermuda grass shooting up a good foot tall, complete with their sneaky snake-like root system. Man, this trimmer was a game-changer in that battle!

Superior cutting + durability
Wow! What a difference! Had been using the ECO recommended line which was very good, but this lasts longer and cuts much better. I've got tall grass and vines that get out of control quickly, this line will help motivate me to get out there and try to stay ahead of it. Smile.

Works well on battery powered line trimmers
Bought this for my Altas 80v line trimmer (Harbor Freight) as my hex bladed 0.095 line kept hanging up and not feeding properly. This Husky round heavy duty line fixed that issue. Line is round and “slippery” allowing easy bump feed dispensing and respooling on trimmer head.

Works Great! Cuts Through Weeds Fast and Like Butter. Durable!
I have the Ego trimmer which comes with the high-viz orange string. I was about to run out, so I bought this on standby. Today, I got back to the yard work after many days of rain. Dandelion weeds with stems about an inch in diameter and Bermuda grass about a foot tall (along with their snakelike root system) were my opponents.Let me say that I wished I had changed over sooner than later to the Husqvarna Titanium. This thing cuts through the weeds with so much ease it was incredible! Because it cuts better, I was working faster, too. With the Ego-branded string, I was struggling. I even ran out of juice in my battery and had to recharge it. I wish I had started with the Husqvarna Titanium, as this would have saved me hours upon hours of struggle! Holding the string trimmer for many hours and using muscles I don't normally use means I feel tired afterwards. If I work faster, then I fatigue less. This stuff held out well, too. The orange stuff broke long before the Husqvarna ever did.I found winding and unwinding the Husqvarna string a lot easier, too. The Ego seems to have some properties that make it bind. It was just hard to work with, especially when I wanted to pull out what's left and load with the Husqvarna.

Works well, lasts long
3rd time to purchase without even debating another product, figured that’s worth 5 stars. I maintain 2.5 acres, very long driveway. Lasts me 2-3 years.
