I really enjoy taking about a gram (1000 mg) of Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) as a daily supplement. For me it seems to help me ward off colds plus helps me keep healthier as I age. This is a Vitamin C 1000mg tablet with no added sugar or flavorings. The label does not say where the ascorbic acid is sourced from but does say MADE IN USA. I am willing to pay a premium for that.Pictures 1-5 show the bottle of 100 tabs which comes well sealed. Picture 4 shows the tablet size; Picture 5 the tab broken in half. These are fairly big but can be cut in half if needed though they are not scored tablets. Note the bottle is orange colored plastic but the tabs are plain white which I appreciate.I Recommend these Ci-Vites by Pharmatech®, Vitamin C 1000 mg Supplements, Support Healthy Immune System, Antioxidant for Women and Men, High Potency Vitamin, Made in USA, 100 Tablets. They are pricey but sometimes you get what you pay for in quality with benefits; good health is priceless. I got this supplement only for treating illness. It has a high dose (1000mg or 1g) per pill, so I don't want to take it daily. According to WebMD, the daily recommended amount is about 100mg, which I already get in my daily multivitamin. But when you are sick, taking 1000-3000mg (1-3g) of Vitamin C can help reduce the illness severity and duration. Just be careful in taking higher doses of Vitamin C, as it can cause diarrhea.According to WebMD, Vitamin C can also treat high (LDL) cholesterol, high blood pressure and several other maladies. Just talk with your doctor first about using this as a treatment because there are some drugs that this vitamin interacts with.

I swear by vitamin C each and every day as it keeps my body healthy, helps to send oxygen to my cells and overall is the best quick immunity fix. Those of us who take vitamin C each day just don't get colds and the flu. I have also noticed that people who need to adjust to higher altitudes do much better if they've been keeping vitamin C in their system.This is a tablet form which seems to work just as well as capsule form. I take it early morning with plenty of fluids and it seems to work well for me. 1000 mgs is a good normal amount for many of us and we wouldn't be without it. Great product, I will purchase again.

My bottle arrived sealed properly with a childproof cap. It has a lot number and expiration date on the label on the side.The tablets are not chewable or gummies, but rather a large pill to swallow so this is probably not the best choice for kids. It is an excellent choice for adults that want to stay healthy.

This Vit. C seems a good one at a pretty good price point. No problems using it, with no upset stomach or other issues.I and my wife use a lot of Vit. C for our alleergies, and I use it to control my recurring nosebleed problem. My healthcare pro from a few decades ago told me to try it to strengthen the blood vessels in my nose.Seems to be 'The Good Stuff'

At the time of this writing, this supplement is about 15 bucks. You get 100 tablets, each with 1000 mg of Vitamin C. That's a nice dose. With so many people concerned about their immune system, supplementing vitamin C is critical. What's nice here is that you have a good amount for cheap. It's basically a three month supply. Don't be afraid to load up!
