Great bags I purchased this box as a gift to the captain of the boat we offshore fish on.

I love the size of these bags. I think they are so great; I give them away to friends and family as one of my neat finds. Just last night I took a 35-lb bag of dogfood and split it up into these smaller size bags because they seal, and the dogfood bags don't seal. I think it will keep the dry dogfood fresher (if that is possible). Plus, by putting into the smaller bags, they are soooo much more manageable. Perfect for documents and manuals where the 1-gallon size is just a tad bit small. Especially useful for tractor manuals. Protects them from the weather so I can keep them with the equipment. They probably work great for food too!

Ordered these bags on a whim. Didn’t think that I would really use them. Boy was I wrong. I use them for a multitude of things. We have a fishing cabin. When transporting things like 10 pounds of sugar, or 10 pounds of flour, I store them in one of these bags and know that I will arrive with sealed bags. Since our cabin is in a remote area, I buy things in quantities, like bread. I shove the bread loaves in a bag, seal it, and throw it in the freezer. Bread is always fresh when it thaws. When I go out to the garden and pick veggies, they always have dirt on them. I throw the veggies in a bag, take them into the cottage, wash them, rinse out the bag and allow it to dry, and I am ready for the next picking. I share these bags with friends. I am ordering another box. This will make my 3rd box (which means 300 bags).

I LOVE the 2 GALLON size. SOMETIMES, you just need BIGGER, like when I make my sisters special birthday mix (grandmas mix)!! She is gonna be ECSTATIC next June!!Nice thickness, can also freeze things in them.

These bags are lovely and will be quite useful but I would have liked to know that they are not clear. One cannot match colors for crafts through a purple tinted bag!

Nice large bags for storing your flour sugar or cereal box in to help cut down any pests (as in ants or roaches not thick enough to prevent mice or rats!!). I put a dessicant pack in each also and so far that works well. Place bagged items in a Rubbermaid tub (or similar) and usually rats leave that alone. If not you have bigger problems than food storage!! But these are great bags. Pricey yes but big and again thicker than most. Easily reused for my purposes. Bet they're great in the freezer. Shop around in price.

These Ziploc bags are the quality that you expect from Ziploc. And I like that I can buy in bulk and save money compared to buying smaller packages.
