Pencil perfection has been achieved!!! I have always loved the BIC Velocity pencils because they are incredibly smooth to write with. The leads are a special formula which is strong and wonderfully smooth. They make a nice dark line. I have them in 0.7 and in 0.9 and both are awesome to write with. But I have a special fondness for the 0.9 Velocity pencils because I tend to press hard when I write, and this lead can handle it. This thick smooth lead is especially nice for writing in crossword, word search, or other puzzle magazines because thin or hard lead often rips the paper, and doesn't always show up well. This lead is a puzzle doers dream come true! I would have thought that the Velocity pencils couldn't get any better, but then....along comes this little gem! Not only is it all the wonderful things I already described, but it goes beyond with it's amazingly squishy and comfortable to hold grip! And the eraser! It's way bigger than on the other Velocity pencils, plus it erases like a dream! Smoothly and cleanly removing all traces of the lead without tearing or roughing up the paper. With its super size, it will last a long time, but you don't need to worry when it does run out because a handy tube with extra leads and erasers is included with each 2-pack of pencils. In addition to all those important features, it's also just a very nice-looking pencil. The colors it comes in are pretty and the upper half of the pencil is clear so you can see thru to the colored lead tube inside. If pocket clips are important to you, you'll love the strong clear clip these pencils have. Can you tell I just love this pencil!? I love the way they write. No more broken lead when trying to write. They refill easily and they come with extra erasers if you make mistakes, but I never do so I don't need them, lol. Highly recommend.

I love these pencils, the grip is soft and comfortable. The 9.0mm size lead is the best thing. I love to write and these pencils are my 'go to' pencils now. Then it comes with extra lead and erasers, which is a plus. The erasers work great, they actually remove the word (or whatever is drawn), not like most erasers that leave the word (in a faint view) after you erase it.

These are my favorite mechanical pencils. When I wanted to buy more, I saw them on Amazon for a really reasonable price and ordered them. Since they have .9mm leads, they do not break easily, are not scratchy and produce a strong, readable line. They are comfortable to hold and come with extra erasers and leads in a little case. I like to keep a pencil handy rather than a pen to write notes to myself or jot down info when I’m on the phone because I don’t have to deal with the frustration of a dry pen.

This is the 3rd time I order these pencils from Amazon. Every time I get the wrong ones, so I started buying them at the store, yet somehow I go back to ordering online. I haven’t learned my lesson yet I guess. I need the 7mm pencils, and the description states it’s a 7mm pencil but the image attached shows a 9mm pencil. This is a good pencil, don’t get me wrong, I love them!! But what I wanted was a 7mm pencil and I keep getting the 9mm instead. This mismatch error gets me mad at myself because it’s the 3th time I make this same mistake!! The first time I was mad at seller for sending the wrong one, but by now- it’s my own fault. Great pencil though.

This is my favorite pencil. When I pick it up, I want to write. The lead is nice and thick, the grip is so squishy and amazing. The only thing I don’t love is the colors, I want pink or purple but the design of the pencil outweighs my dislike for orange. I had my sister get these and she loves them too. I can’t recommend these enough.
