Q: Hi comvita, could you please advise what is the methylglyoxal (mgo) concentration of comvita manuka honey? also does the honey comes in a glass jar?

The jar is plastic. Hard form one which is good.

Q: I would like to know what is the production date for this honey and is there an expiry date?

There are stickers on the tub saying the batch number and the use by date on mine is for April 2017. Comvita is one of the few regulated companies that has a guaranteed UMF number and in my opinion is the best manuka honey I've ever purchased. It's expensive but worth paying for I believe, as you know it is thoroughly tested and guaranteed to be a genuine product. Tastes wonderful too.

Q: Does it matter that it's not raw ?

Hi Jenny, although the honey is not technically raw (most honey isn't) we never exceed the temperature which the bees keep in the hive which is around 37 degrees Celsius. This is to keep a continuity throughout the process of filtering and packing the honey into jars.
