Quies Protection Auditive - Earplugs 35dB-3 Pairs

I first started using earplugs about 10 years ago ( studying for exams and having a teenage neighbor with a powerfull hi-fi system is not a good combination..)and since then I tend to use them whenever the enviroment gets too noisy for me to sleep (or concentrate). Either way, these earplugs can supress the noise and help you relax, although you should know that some noises especially basses, will still be heard, although more distant and faint.You have to roll them first between your thumb and your index finger so that their volume becomes less (almost half), and then immediately insert them in your ear canal, by pulling the top of your ear upwards with your other hand.Once in place( the whole body of the earplug should be inside the ear canal),keep your finger in place (and slightly pressing) , for the earplug to assume its previous volume(about 30 secs). This way the ear canal will be totally filled .Some words of notice:-the earplugs are more stiff when they are cold and become more expanded when they get warm (and moist), so you should avoid handling it with your fingers for too long, otherwise it will be very difficult to fit them in your ear (they will expand instantly after you roll them in your fingers).-your ear canal must be clean and dry before inserting the earplug.-there is absolutely no way you can put it too deep so that it won't come out (that's my brother's greatest fear and the reason he never uses ear plugs).-if you don't already have a problem with excessive ear wax ear plugs cannot cause you one.-Keep them clean and as sterile as possible (don't let them come in contact with too many surfaces, always wash your fingers prior to use)-Discard them immediately if they are torn in some place.-If it's your first time using earplugs you may feel some discomfort and a pressing sensation, it is normal. Try to get used to it by putting them on and gradually increasing the time you have them on. If you feel anything more than a minor discomfort (which is unlikely but not impossible), for example a burning sensation or extreme discomfort, remove them.The quality of these earplugs is quite good and the colors are neon-vibrant which makes them easy to locate among your stuff. Among numerous earplugs that I've tried and used over the past years these are certainly among the best.

This product isn't bad, but nor is it "EXCELLENT!" as others have been screaming. As someone who dislikes noise, and at night especially likes to shut out any interruptions, these foam earplugs are perfect, so I rate them 5 stars. I can still hear the dull hum of the fan on it's highest speed next to my bed, I can still hear the shrill tones of my mobile phone's alarm to wake me up in the morning but everything else seems to be dulled down or muted - especially wonderful in the summer when you leave your windows open and if like me you live in a crappy area - have yobs, drunks constantly shouting and talking past your house at early hours in the morning - I just can't hear them. For me, these are much better quality foam than all of the other foam earplugs I have used, they don't seem to want to pick up dirt and grease so readily, which is great for their re-usability - and you receive so many in the pack! . Do make a point of putting them in with very clean hands. What I love about amazon, and buying little items like this is, you can pick them up for a few pounds were as in Boots, this item would be considered it's 'premium' brand and they hike the price up to something eye-watering like £7.99. I give these 5 stars because they did exactly what I expected them to do, but with a quick (2 working day) free delivery and a better quality of foam than I expected. Will they completely drown out a loud snoring partner? Probably not. Will any earplug completely mute sound? I don't know.... Until you have tried every type of earplug (foam, silicone, wax) and in every brand! You can never really say "this is excellent. It's the best earplug." I don't believe these are... But with realistic expectations, they will improve your standard of living both day and night. Clean, easy and mess free - I would definitely buy again.

After a while of looking at what I could do to get a full nights sleep, has to be said that other half is snoring really bad, next doors dog barking at all hours of the day/night, road noise, bin men and the list goes on. I was sceptic about this item, I did however manage to have two full nights sleep, the first two in months where I did not have to escape to the sofa to get away from noise.I have previously struggled with pain and discomfort from using ear plus or similar items, these are more comfortable than anything I have tried before.If I have to say anything about this product, the only thing is that they are a bit tricky to get right when you use them, also if not inserted right they will move and cause discomfort.Very happy that I decided to try these out.

I love this product and have become so reliant on them that I make sure I have a set not only when I travel, for which they are invaluable, but at home too. A friend recommended them to me as her partner is a heavy snorer. I had tried a number of other brands but was always disappointed. I wanted to block out the noise at night in a new apartment I was staying in, they worked and I now put a set in every night, and I sleep all the better for them. I am sensitive, due to hearing problems, to certain frequencies, and often bothered by things like central heating systems and these earplugs work a treat, but I still hear my alarm clock in the morning, more's the pity, but hey. The best thing is knowing, when I'm lucky enough to have a lie-in of a morning, that the sound of the traffic won't disturb me. They're comfortable, easy to use, stay in all night for the most part and are long lasting. I never thought I would find myself raving about such a product, or any product for that matter, but I do, and I recommend them to all my friends.

I consider them the best quality earplugs that I use when I want to sleep and they guarantee that the noise does not bother me. I have been using them for about 10 years.
