Excellent installment in the Asterix series!
Feels like the style of Asterix books by the original author/illustrator duo, funny moments and an enjoyable story with lots of re-reading value. One strange thing about this particular publication is a misprint that the name of the character Getafix is called 'Panoramix', which is his name in the original French version of the series.

Asterix & the White Iris (2023)
I’ve been buying Asterix books for over 50 years and this is the best Asterix produced in ages, not that any have been bad. This is an Asterix adventure much like the old ones. The story is fun and the artwork is excellent!

Interesting Book with Magical Spell's Approach
Interesting! Fun to read the writer's imagination with magical spell with attractive illustrations. The Roman head physician of the Roman army named Viceversus is a powerful source to give a story with white iris. It is funny to read a "railway system of wagons" in Lvtetia as its reflection for the modern European railway centre on page 32. Also, it is comical to read the whole illustration of the rally along the fancy restaurant villa in page 35. This story is a combination of the past and the present pictures. Cheers!

So much fun like before
I have been a regular reader of Asterix comics. The ones in the recent times didn't impress me much... but white iris has the most relevant comedy. Loved it thoroughly!

Back to be funny
Since I was a kid, I have loved to read the stories of Asterix and Obelix. As the new generation of writers and illustrators took over the project’s legacy, I felt the new stories lacked the wit and spontaneity of the comic legacy of Goscinny and Uderzo. A test of time is that whenever I read the old Asterix’s stories, my reaction is as if it was my first time reading them. Their details and (almost) hidden nuances in the illustrations tied to the stories make me laugh and leave me feeling tickled. This new story, “Asterix and the White Iris,” made me laugh (almost) like in the previous stories of Goscinny and Uderzo. Some passages could use more consistent transitions, but, overall, I give five stars to a job well done.

Asterix and Obelix at it again
This volume is once again bringing back the level of humor and storyline that are what made these characters famous. It is surprising that the illustrator, the writer and the translator all hav echanged but, the look, feel and the humor has stayed the same.

Shades of the magic of Goscinny
This book was truly funny and I was reminded of the beauty of the old books written by Goscinny. Well done, Fabcaro! A worthy addition to my Asterix collection. Fabcaro seems to know the score and I hope he continues to improve the standard of the Asterix books over what we were served in the last several releases.

Good stuff
This album is amazing and much better than the last one. I love the puns and satire. It’s funny. The storyline is nice. Didier is doing great with the artwork since he started. I hope that Fabcaro continues writing.
