Will this work with eero mesh?

Hello , this outdoor wifi extender does not work with eero mesh.

If setup as a repeater, do I need to hardwire it to the router at all? Thank you.

Hello, If you set it to Repeater mode, you don't need to connect the cable to the router. Repeater mode transmits signals via RF, even if you connect the cable, the signal will not be transmitted via the cable. If you want to connect a cable, we recommend you to set it to AP mode.
