It keeps sand off my water spout

The cover will not stay on the bite valve. It is has a very loose fit and just falls off. Actually, you are better off if it does fall off. It creates so much space around the bite valve that more dirt and dust collects around the valve like a bucket. I have read that there was an older cover design for the Osprey bite valve that does actually work so I will see if I can find one. Maybe the positive reviews are for that version?

Not sure why this didn’t come with my osprey water bladder, it’s a must for me to have to protect the mouth piece, sturdy product and will keep the moth piece free of debri

My kid fell off his bike on the trails a few times today, and it never popped off. I'd say that's good enough to know it works, and seems like it should be sturdy enough to take many direct hits with the dirt.

I was so happy that finally osprey has a cover for their camel water bag mouth piece. But I have an older model camel water bag and this mouth piece does not fit it - it’s too narrow and the connector to the hose too short . It ought to be sold together with the mouth piece that fits it .

If this is really made from Osprey, then it is disappointing. It fits my Osprey hydration pack but very loosely. It does the job of preventing the bite valve from getting dirty but it sits tilted like a home made one. Using it, but not proud.

The way it slides on from the bottom doesn't appear to actual create a tight fit. Does fit highly on the bite valve, which is the intended purpose.

I bought the Osprey branded valve cover to ensure it fit the valve in my hydration pack. I have two other bladders and have bought a previous version and they fit perfectly covering all of the silicone bite valve. This one only covers about half of the bite valve allowing dirt and debris to get onto the part that goes in your mouth which completely defeats the purpose. Luckily I was able to find the previous version on eBay and will be repurchasing that instead.

Just take the bite valve off and this fits straight on and put the bite valve back with no interference. When you put the cover over the valve, you do need to 'click' it into place - I spent the first day with it flapping around and not staying over the valve so thought it was a waste of money. Seems well made, I paid around £12 which is a bit steep but if I put my pack down I don't want the valve touching anything on the ground, so it does do the job (once you learn to 'click' it on lol)

Tapa para la nueva válvula de succión Hydraulics que es más pequeña y compacta que la antigua válvula y se puede abrir el flujo de agua con una sola mano. La tapa encaja muy bien en la nueva válvula y queda completamente cerrada.No sirve para la antigua válvula que era más grande.

Copertura per proteggere la valvola della sacca idrica Osprey-Hydrapak (Hydraulics™ 3 L Reservoir), molto comodo e di facile installazione. Al momento le immagini del prodotto del venditore non corrispondono, mi sono fidato di un'altra recensione e mi è andata bene. Pagato 7.76€, cifra che ritengo comunque alta (potevano metterlo a corredo nella sacca come il magnete, suvvia Osprey è un gommino...)

上手く装着することが出来なくて、大変だったけど、試行錯誤して、パッキンが外れること無く、ハイドレーション使えるようになり、暑い季節の山行行くことが出来て、着けて良かったです。

Purchased for my new bladder. Come on osprey whilst this is a great cap to keep bite valve clean, why not include with the bladder in the first place.Have to remove the valve to fit but is a snug fit. Essential for the Seral 7 waist pack as when you remove the pack the valve always fall to the floor collecting grit etc which has to be cleaned before use.Essential but expensive.
