This came extremely well packed. It has 2 remotes. The remotes have batteries included, but the individual candles do no include batteries (needs 2 AA batteries per candle). The packaging also included a spare battery cover, which was a nice addition. The previous LED candles I had, the tab on a battery cover broke and I used duct tape to kind of hold it on. It didn't work well, hence I bought this set as a replacement.The candles are of various heights and about 2" thick. It says that in the listing, but for some reason I was expecting more like 3". They still look good and work well for my use.The brightness is adjustable with the remotes, along with multiple timer settings. You can also adjust it to be a steady light or a soft flicker. I like the flicker when using them as a grouping, but the steady light is easier on the eyes when using them individually. Low brightness makes for a nice nightlight, while high brightness gives off a pretty good glow that sets the mood nicely.Downside is that the light is a very unnatural yellow. But that seems to be the standard for all LED candles. Don't know why they do that. A nice warm white would make for a better and more natual flame look in my opinion.

I have order these twice now, and I couldn't be more pleased. They are beautiful and of a great quality. The wax adds an additional layer of realism and rustic charm. These are a perfect fit for my holiday and woodland cottage décor.The only issue is the timing. Everything works beautiful, but there is a slight delay in the response time between the remote and some of the candles. Most light immediately, but others take a few seconds or so.STILL, Amazing value and quality

Very good product, i love to have them lit while in my tub listening to audible. Creates a great atmosphere without worrying about something catching on fire

I use them about the house, and to bring a bit of warmth and coziness to catering events. They each take two aa batteries (not included) and are rated for 150 hours of continuous use on one set of batteries. I use rechargeable batteries, so my performance is slightly lower than that. In addition to battery life, they are rated to last for 50,000 hours. Since that is almost six years, I have yet to test that claim out. However, my first set of these were purchased over a year-and-a-half ago and are still going strong.Activate the candles by adding the batteries, and carefully closing the battery cover. Note Those covers will break if forced, so be careful. Then turn them on by sliding the on/off switch to the on position. You can now use the remotes to control the candle’s many features.Since you get nine candles, I have a tendency to group them in threes, as you can see from these images (Figure-3, Figure-4, Figure-5).Two Full-Feature Remotes (Figure-6)To active the remotes, pull the plastic tab out from the bottom. The remotes are IR, not wireless, so they will need to be in line-of-site with the candles, in order for them to work. I also performed a distance test and I needed to be between 10 – 12 feet (3 – 3.6 meters) for the candles to recognize the signal coming from the remote.The top buttons on the remote are for turning the candles on (green) and off (red). The candles must be on before using any of the other features.The remainder of the buttons are divided into 4 sections.TimerThe four buttons in this section control how long the candles stay lit (2, 4, 6, or 8 hours). Note: If you just press the red on button, the candles will stay on until the batteries fail.ModeYou have two choices: Candle or Light mode.Light mode gives you a steady light; while Candle mode gives you the illusion of a flickering candle. Note: When you first use the Candle mode on a group of candles, they will all flicker at the same time, which makes them look fake; however, after about 20 – 30 seconds they will begin flickering independently of each other. The media could not be loaded. I love these candles. I have had these candles for several months now and use them nightly and have experienced no issues with them. I use the timer setting to have them come on at a certain time each evening and then turn off after a set amount of time. I ordered my daughter a set for her apartment in a different color and can’t wait to give them to her!

I bought these real wax led candles for a wedding. They look nice but I wish I could find fatter led candles in bulk. These are only 2" wide and none of the height measurements are accurate. This doesn't matter to me but if you need exact measurements, or multiple candles the same height, look somewhere else. I ordered 6 sets all at once & 4 matched well enough but 2 sets were completely different. Hopefully the exchange items match the 1st 4 sets close enough to keep.
