Perfect for travel and fully functional laptop.
I needed a fully functional laptop, but one that is light and tiny! This one absolutely meets that need, and is even touch screen which is nice. It is my new travel laptop that fits nicely in my purse 👍

Backups - complete backups must be SSD hard drive to SSD hard drive
This computer has a SSD hard drive (computer chip, thumb drive). Currently, you can only do a SSD hard drive backup (files, folders and operating system stuff) to another SSD hard drive. You can transfer all of the files and folders you want to and from a SSD hard drive and a HDD hard drive (CD like disk), except for the operating system stuff. Windows backup just let me do a full backup and full Image of the SSD hard drive in this computer. Backups completed successfully. It was the SSD hard drive in this computer to an external SSD hard drive. Backups were not tested. Windows 11 just updated. MS Word in Office 2019 opened as it should - no problems. Nice! Still checking things out...Checked some things out. This SSD hard drive is NTFS formatted (like a HDD hard drive). SSD hard drives art typically formatted in exFAT. So, any backups on computers running Windows on a PC must be done to a NTFS formatted hard drive (File Backup and Image). IF only a File Backup is being done, a HDD or SSD hard drive can be used. A Mac seems to only do a file backup so there is no Image backup in Time Machine. There are no license stickers on the computer. My personal preference was to buy and install Windows 11 ($200) and to add this computer to my Microsoft 360 account (free). Could have bought Windows 10 (about $40) and took the free upgrade to Windows 11. Installing Windows 11 wiped out all of the installed programs on the computer. Having the license for a program helps with upgrades, and computer repairs. No licensing stickers could leave you hanging out to dry if the program (like your operating system) is challenged as not being valid. Otherwise, I really, really like this computer for its size, weight, and performance.

Zwying Mini Laptop
Only have had the mini laptop for a little over a week now and I am very happy my purchase. For what I am using it for it is doing exactly as described, I will try and write another review at a later date when I have had more time to use laptop more. As above I have no complaints at this time. The size is great for portability. Startup is quick. Have loaded the software that I use without any problems. Hardware that I have hooked up to laptop has installed and working great. Had read couple reviews about laptop getting hot but I have not encountered this so far. I am mostly using this to store my medical and military records and collectable inventories (comics, cards, coins, etc) that I have in databases that I have built. I haven't had a chance to try gaming on this laptop yet to see how it performs. Overall again at this time and date I am very happy with my purchase.

Terrible Purchase – Avoid at All Costs Third and Final UPDATED 01172025
Third and Final Update 1/17/2025First, let me be clear: I knew I wasn't buying a Surface Pro or MAC Book. This was a clear case use for a laptop I could carry to work as my company stopped us from using social media, NETFLIX etc on company computers. I'm not a big tablet person so that wasn't working for me and I wanted the smallest and lightest foot print if I had to carry 2 devices for work.I had success buying from Chinese vendors before but this was not one of them. After my first disappointing purchase, I decided to give this product another try, hoping it was just a one-off issue. Unfortunately, I was wrong. When I received the second device, it had a crack on the hinge right out of the box, hidden under a sticker. This only confirmed my suspicion that these items are refurbished, despite the seller’s lack of honesty about it.Still, I tried to make the best of it and took the device on a work trip. It was a disaster:Terrible Sound Quality: The audio was muffled and practically unusable for anything beyond basic notifications.- Abysmal Battery Life: The battery lasted a pathetic 1.5 hours**, and recharging took an absurd **3 hours with the included charger. My main issue was the overheating Issues. After just 30 minutes of watching a video, the device got so hot I couldn’t even keep it on my bare skin. This is not only uncomfortable but also concerning from a safety perspective. The concept of this device might be appealing, but the execution is abysmal. I’m returning this one too and won’t be giving this seller another chance. It might be okay as a toy for a small child, but I wouldn’t trust it for a young teenager. Also because it's a laptop you should expect 5-7 days for a refund as someone at Amazon has to "check it out"Save your money and look for something reliable elsewhere. Very disappointed.12/29/2024I purchased a new laptop and received it today. I wanted to give an updated review and my thoughts after using for 5 hrs.Replacement Laptop:Packaging and Appearance:The replacement laptop arrived today, and it was evident this unit was new.It had protective plastic film on the lid, screen, bottom, and trackpad. The trackpad also featured a visible fingerprint scanner, which was missing on the first laptop.Performance and Build:The laptop feels sturdy and slightly heavy but performs well. The 2K screen quality is excellent, and I have not experienced any performance hiccups so far.Windows Activation and Setup:1. Similar to the first laptop, this one came pre-set up. This time, however, I was able to find the activation key but was not able to reset the laptop due to receiving an "Could not find recovery environment"2. The included instructions referenced an ASUS laptop and even described a CD drive, which this model does not have.Overall Rating: 3 StarsPositives:* The seller was responsive, though their overseas location caused delays (approximately 12 hours per response).* The laptop feels solid, performs well, and has excellent screen quality.Negatives:1. The first laptop appeared opened or refurbished and had scratches.2. Windows activation issues persists, and I may need to purchase a new license.3. The instructions were incorrect and referenced features this laptop doesn’t have.4. The return process through Amazon was cumbersome compared to previous experiences.Final Thoughts:I decided to give this model another chance because I wanted an upgrade from my stolen Chuwi 2-in-1. While this laptop offers better specs (16GB RAM vs. 12GB and a fingerprint scanner), the experience was frustrating. I feel like I bought this through a discount platform like Temu, not Amazon, and I blame Amazon for allowing such inconsistencies. If you’re willing to save $40 compared to the Chuwi, this laptop might be worth the risk—but be prepared for potential setbacks and the possibility of needing to buy an operating system.12/22/2024I am extremely disappointed with this product. From the moment I unboxed it, the issues were glaring.Scratched Screen: The screen was visibly scratched, and you could feel the damage. For a "new" or "refurbished" item, this is unacceptable.Startup Issues: On the first power-up, it didn’t even load the normal Windows sign-in page. Instead, it booted directly to some random page, which immediately raised red flags about its condition and security.Tablet Mode Lock: When I reset the computer for security reasons, it got stuck in tablet mode. Worse yet, the activation code for Windows was invalid. There was a sticker directing me to email for the activation code, but the email wasn’t even associated with the supposed seller, ZWYING Store. This is absolutely a waste of money. The product is poorly refurbished, and the seller’s practices seem shady at best. I could have saved myself the hassle by shopping elsewhere—TEMU would have been a better option!Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

Solid budget laptop if tablet mode isn't your main thing
I've used this laptop for a planned movie night with a USB stick when electricity died. Got three movies out of it. Decent sound quality.Battery life otherwise is pretty nice, don't have to turn off constantly. My main gripe is the "tablet" mode. I was hoping it'd be comfortable enough to use as an eReader, but the overall feel just doesn't work for me. Could be a personal thing. But it doesn't close up tightly, and somehow radiates a kind of clumsy uncertainty, like I could have just bought a laptop and held it sideways in portrait mode.No issues software wise so far: not too slow, decent memory for my minimalist uses.I like that it comes with a mouse, since personally I suck at trackpad, but if you're not going to use it for mouse heavy stuff the trackpad works well enough that you have the option.Overall I'm happy with it. At this price point I wasn't sure what to expect, and with the issues I've had with returns here, I was willing to call it a loss if it didn't work out.But yeah, happy surprise!
