What does this smell like?

It smells real good. More like a apple smell, a real fresh scent

Will this work on frizzy hair that I let air dry?

Put it on your hair wet. Then air dry and don’t mess with it. Just my opinion. I’ve used it for years.

It does, this is a silky smooth silicone emulsion.

Can this be used on curly hair? If yes, would it be applied before or after applying gel?

Yes, it's great on curly hair! If your going to use gel or any other product, like i do, thrn put the Paul Mitchel Skinny Serum on 1st. Put it on before the Gel.
