Q: I like the how-to video for setting the combination. How do I open the U-lock hasp to secure it to the door, hose bib, etc?

Simply rotate the combination given when you PURCHASED the lock......pull....and it opens. Also, your own combination number is easy to set with knob inside of unit.

Q: My house key is 2.5 inches long X 1 inch wide and shaped like a car key. Would my house key fit in this product?

The box is 3" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" deep, plus some additional space at the top. You should be able to fit the key in.

Q: Can the code be changed?

Yes, easily. When you open the keybox you slide a lever over and then change the combination to anything you want, then slide the lever back and you are done. So you can use the keybox at different properties and never have the same code.

Q: How does this work? Want to use it when I leave an elderly relative home in case fall alert is triggered.
