Aveeno Active Naturals Pure Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner Set, 10.5 Fluid Ounce each

After using the shampoo and conditioner 4 times, my hair was shinier, softer and way less dry looking/feeling than it had been with the other products (OGX/Organics and Garnier Fructis) I'd been using before trying this. Also, the natural wave in my hair came back! I noticed that less hair is coming out after I comb it, too. YAY on all! Note: it's not very scented which I'm happy about.

A bit of a backstory. The chronic stress of the pandemic and having had Covid-19 last year did a number on my hair. Itchy scalp, lifeless hair, you name it I, had it. Tried too many products to recount here, to no avail. The key words in Aveeno Pure renewal shampoo and conditioner were "pure, balancing." It worked from the first use, I feel like a have my hair back. It gets a bit dry after washing but that gets corrected by the conditioner. Bouncy, vibrant, healthy hair.

My favorite shampoo and conditioner. Smells great! Leaves hair shiny and manageable. My hair stylist even noticed the difference when I switched to Aveeno. My hair isn’t dry and color lasts longer. Better than products costing 4 times the price! It’s difficult to find in stores, so I always buy a couple of bottles from Amazon to keep in stock.

I don’t feel that I can fully rate this in terms of long-term results, but I’ve used it once & am pleased. Gentle, still foamy. Some ingredients that give a great lather are not very good for our skin. But I have never had a bad Aveeno product. My hair is soft & there is zero scent left behind which is great if that is important to you.

I have uncolored naturally wavy hair that I rarely use heat on (I used to do keratin treatments living in Florida humidity that started great but after a few years left my hair brittle and damaged) and I have tried so many high end expensive “sulfate free” shampoos and conditioners that never worked for me or left my hair feeling worse than before - HOWEVER, I just recently learned that I have low porosity hair and have been learning what products to avoid since - this shampoo and conditioner is great not only because it’s sulfate free, but there’s no added keratin or proteins that weigh my hair down and dry it out. Literally a life saving shampoo and conditioner!!!!!! My hair is super soft and way more managed than it has ever been and I don’t need keratin treatments anymore to get the same smooth and shiny soft results!

I have been using these products for a few weeks now. I typically wash my hair every other day and very rarely every three days but I want to say that so far I love this set. They have a nice, clean smell. They help keep my hair less oily and actually feel clean. I do not feel any residue of any kind. I have not exactly noticed a change in my frizziness but I never really expect that out of shampoos or conditioners.Overall, it's a good set of shampoo/conditioner.

I ordered this set for dry scalp & reading other reviews, I expected for it to help with this issue. The shampoo and conditioner contains no sulfates, which is good for scalp. This is so true because this product has helped so much with my dry scalp. I no longer have scalp itch neither.

The few Aveeno skin products I have tried worked well so I bought the shampoo and conditioner. Since age 55, my hair has been thinning and dry, but these products made my hair even more dry and dull. I was hoping sulfate-free would make a difference, but not on my hair.Also, the bottles are difficult to squeeze so I had to remove the top to use. Might seem petty to some but when you get older these things matter.
