Trims hair without ripping it out of my face
Just charged this up and used it for the first time. I have other trimmers with offset guides but mostly they RIP hair from the face if I go to quickly... sometimes even if I don't. My beard is a little unruly, we've been quarantined and nobody sees me. So... first use: this is the smoothest trim, very effective and accurate. The most comfortable trimmer to use I remember ever having. The head has a dial offset and it works well. It doesn't slip. If I wanted to change the setting I had to turn the power OFF before I could reset. very cleaver. The offset doesn't appear to disengage for cleaning, but it seemed to work. There is no UL wall plug in the box. It comes only with a USB plug, which is a cheapout by the manufacturer. But the trimmer unit, I'm impressed.I can't really comment on the battery life having charged it only once. I'm giving it a 4 but cud become a 5 pretty easily.A couple months later and I have raised my review to five stars because every aspect of this little gem is really terrific. The battery is good. I want to be charged it up twice but I’ve used it pretty much every day for three months. Very happy with it. The really amazing part is how smooth it is on my skin. It doesn’t rip. I have chunky eyebrows and trimming them has always been a struggle. It isn’t a struggle any longer with these clippers.

Tesla of Trimmers
This trimmer is really futuristic shifting from a traditional trimmer. For starters, it has a digital display that shows battery percentage and moreover it has type C port for charging! The quality of material is good and the trim is neat and perfect. Just rotating the dial to adjust the length is very convenient compared to other trimmers where we need to change the head for different lengths. This gives two heads one with 1-10mm and second with 11-20mm which makes it a one stop shop for all trim needs.

Works, but for how long? Because it won't charge.
1/20/2021 UpdateI'm adjusting my review because I've had more time to use it now. Overall except for the below minor issue it's a great trimmer! The battery lasts a long time between charges and it's nice to clean and maintain and I like that it only has the one guide attachment. Still docking it one star because it doesn't show a charging indicator while charging or let me know when it's done charging, but doesn't seem to effect the ability of it taking a charge. You probably won't have this problem as the seller has contacted me to let me know that they've addressed some manufacturing issues from the past.6/17/2020 Original ReviewI like the design, it's quiet and easy to clean. I've only used it once, but wonder how many more uses I'll get out of it before the battery is dead since I can't charge it. At least I believe it's not charging because according to the manual I should see the red light indicating that it's charging and it does not light up. I either have a bad unit or the cable is bad because I confirmed the power brick I'm plugging their USB cable into is good with another device and even tried multiple power bricks. The green indicator does come on during use so at least I know the LEDs should be working.

Versatile, Affordable, and Travel-Friendly Trimmer
The media could not be loaded. This trimmer is reliable, versatile, and inexpensive. It trims beards and hair with ease due to its adjustable settings. It's light and easy to carry around, and the charge via USB-C happens really fast. it also holds that charge pretty well after a while. Cleaning is doable but not exactly the easiest. It is quiet, never overheats, and feels comfortable in my hand. This trimmer is perfect for both home use and traveling. I would say a good product in this price.

My second of this trimmer
if you’re a dedicated beard-wearer, it’s happened to you at least once: clipper length slips or is set wrong mistakenly and you trim all the way down to your face that hasn’t felt fresh air in months or years.happened to me the other day for the first time in years. my original trimmer from this company had failed me. quickly went from the intended 8mm to 1mm to my horror and dismay.though it might not be time for me to trim a beard for another week or two, i quickly ordered a replacement trimmer. could’ve been a “fool me twice” situation, but i repeated the same trimmer. i think the length mechanism got messed up by me dropping it, though in these reviews it seems the company is very generous with sending replacement units.i considered alternative options from bigger name companies but the previous one served me well for over two years and the price was right.was expecting practically an identical trimmer but was excited to find they made some updates since the last time. the clippers are improved, the motor strength and the on/off button mechanism is improved too.I rolled the dice and was happy with the outcome. if this new one lasts me another two years without disaster i’ll be pleased

Buy something else
Pros: usb recharge, built in guard, good for travel, battery indicatorCons: never had a trimmer cut my face more without a guard(usual method), with guard low that still can happen, collects hair and difficult to clear, that leads to uneven trims or a really lengthy process. In summary it still works fine but is bad enough that I’m looking for something else.

Changing guides requires a lot of force.
Removing either of the guides requires a lot of force, and I am worried that I am going to break the plastic every time that I pull one off. Putting a guide back on is easy, and it snaps into place with relatively minimal effort. The blades are nice and sharp, and the top one is removable (with a torx driver) for thorough cleaning. Also, the casing comes apart (with a phillips driver) so that the internals can potentially be repaired if they ever break, or if the battery ever needs to be replaced. The battery arrived with an 80% charge on it, which just seems dangerous for the mail carrier. Rechargeable batteries are usually shipped with a minimal charge of ~20% because of potential fire hazards.
