Looking at this for my daughter to use for reading her books in the car. Will this work ok for that? Or am I better off getting a clip light?

This light has a fairly narrow beam, which would have to be aimed at the part of the page to be read. A clip light would spread the light out more, which would probably be better for reading a book.

Is the bulb replaceable, if so what is the volt and amp of the battery?

The LED bulb will never have to be replaced. It is good for 100,000 hours, and the battery is a simple Triple A (AAA) 1.5 volt. How easily is it tured off and on. Old hands are fumbaly and need an easy methoud of switching on and off. It looks like a push button at the top but

I too have problems with my hands in doing tasks. This flashlight button on top is very easy to push. You push to.turn it on and push again to turn it off. It does not take a lot of force to do this. The flashlight is not very bright. But it gives a gentle light. Some flashlight are so bright that they hurt your eyes. This flashlight is very dependable and uses very little engery so the battery last a long time. Put a good brand of battery in it for the best performance. I like Enginizer Rayovco or Duracell. Rayovac states on the package "3 Lumens", so I suppose that is the value to go by. I am pleased with whatever it is. I get a lot of light at 25 feet in a dark room.
