Works great for hose to standard bathroom shower head. I was cleaning / demineralizing a shower head, and just needed an easy way to check it out without pulling off my existing shower head. This allowed me to test it with an outdoor garden hose. Plus as some other reviewers commented, if I ever want adapt a shower head to an outdoor use, this will do it.

Quality brass adapter. Used to attached showehead (1/2 in thread) to hose bib (3/4 in thread). Threaded on smooth and no leaked even without tape.

Great product, no leaks when used as required. They are very easy to install. Great price as well.

Ordered the wrong part! Thought the 3/4 female was a swivel, but it is rigid (so you have to rotate either the entire fitting or the hose to screw the male end of the hose into the fitting).

I almost didn’t buy these because Amazon said they are often returned “due to poor size or fit” but these fit perfectly. The only thing I can figure is that people don’t understand that these are an adapter to go between a standard house hose bib thread and the thread on pvc irrigation fittings. If that’s what you are looking for, these are exactly right.

Didn’t need it for what I initially thought I needed it for, but came with an idea with it. I hooked this up to my standard garden hose (3/4”) and was able to test and adjust my 1/2” sprinklers before going through the work of installing them. Kinda cool!

I needed to adapt some PVC plumbing to a garden hose and these did the trick. They are nice brass connectors.
