As many have attested to, the cover/keyboard it comes with is heavy, making up half it's weight, but looks pretty nice - sturdy and intuitively crafted, but the fabric started unwiring (unthreading?) within the first few days... Therefore I summarily discarded it and purchased a compatible leather casing along with a portable bluetooth keyboard (that folds son!), and this combo completed everything - it's a magnificent god dayum beauty now.Battery life is exceptionally superior and puts my Macbook Pros to shame. Stream 3-4 movies on one charge with no problem. The touch screen isn't as sensitive as say an iPad, but this isn't a deal breaker. I also got a protective screen, so this further compounded the sensitivity issue. Overall, super happy with this slick pad.Side note: The Chromebook Duet is certainly unsure about its own identity - whether it identifies itself as a laptop or tablet, it lingers in the nebulous uncertainty in between, but the hell with that as long as it delivers, which it does.

For less that $200 and next day delivery for me this thing is a great tinkering machine. Certainly not the fastest thing in the world, but you'd be pressed to find a good android tablet for $200. This not only can run android apps, but can also run Linux programs. Great build quality, great screen, great battery life. If you're just looking for a small budget 2 in 1 for travel (as I was) couldn't recommend it more. If you want a basic tablet to watch Netflix for your kids or something, just get something cheaper that they can toss around. Also came in what I would describe as new condition. No complaints and pleasantly surprised!

I bought this product a month ago -- renewed -- for a total of around $198. I didn't have very high expectations for it, but I wanted a detachable 2-in-1 and this price seemed like a great way to see how useful one of these are.I'm very happy I took the chance!First off, regarding Amazon renewed products (I'm not attesting to 3rd party used items, but specifically those "renewed" by Amazon), it certainly doesn't feel used! This particular laptop has no aesthetic defects whatsoever and the battery life seems as good as new. Perhaps I got lucky, and then again, perhaps Amazon just has a higher standard of renewed products. My only gripe is that it didn't come with the USB-C-to-Audio-Jack adapter. But other than that, I'm thoroughly satisfied with Amazon's refurbished products.Now as for the laptop. I was hesitant to buy it as the processor isn't Intel nor ARM; it isn't even a Qualcomm (like the ones in higher end phones). But so far, this MediaTek processor has performed honorably. I try not to stress it out too much, but so far it's been able to handle me running 3 different apps concurrently -- one of them a drawing app where I had numerous layers and infinite undo -- and it didn't slow down much at all. Of course it doesn't run completely smoothly, as there is noticeable choppiness when I try to resize a layer, but it doesn't crash nor momentarily freeze.The RAM is only 4 GB, but at least it's LPDDR4 so the speed is decent. Like I mentioned, I do my best not to overload it and notice its inability to smoothly run certain combinations of taxing applications (video/photo editing apps running simultaneously with streaming apps like Netflix), but I'm still pleasantly surprised by the fact that it CAN run those apps concurrently without freezing or crashing.The memory is only 64 GB and it uses a soldered flash card (I believe) so file retrieval, copying, and transferring is noticeably slower, but still, not inhibiting. Just remember you're working with a small memory bank with slow read/write speeds -- so don't use it as the source file for important or large works -- and you'll be fine.The detachable keyboard is a little crammed (certain buttons like backspace and shift are much smaller than usual), but it's still very usable. It feels pretty solid, even on my lap. I don't use the keyboard for extended typing sessions, but for writing quick emails, searching the web, etc, the keyboard works well. The trackpad is good too. It's obviously a little small, but not frustratingly so in my opinion. Unfortunately, the keyboard isn't backlit though.Removing the keyboard for tablet mode is easy. Chromebooks are, unfortunately still, known for their slightly wonky tablet mode. They've improved it a great deal, but many applications still don't run as smoothly as they should in tablet mode. But in my case, I use mostly very popular apps (Squid, Autodesk Sketchbook, Netflix, etc) so the developers are on the ball when it comes to making sure these apps resize properly on a Chromebook and function as expected. So I personally have no complaints, but I know others who use less popular apps and they're not quite as content as I am.The keyboard reattaches quite easily as well and the magnets are strong, solidly snapping it back into place. The hinge is made of a material that seems pretty sturdy so far. It gives the keyboard room to wiggle so it can "shape" itself to my lap.The speakers are small and void of much bass, but that's to be expected in this form factor. And this is where my only real complaint comes in. This laptop only comes with a single input -- a USB-C jack. And since I didn't receive a USB-C audio adapter, I'm having a difficult time finding one that works with this computer. I've bought 2 so far and neither of them are providing my headphones with audio. So I'm not sure if there's something wrong the USB-C jack (although it works just fine for charging and flash drives) or if there's a specific detail I'm missing when buying the adapter. Either way, it's been a little frustrating.Overall, I'd say this computer has been a very pleasant surprise. For $198 including tax, I received a fairly capable 2-in-1 detachable with fantastic battery life (an average of around 9-10 hours). It's extremely light and small so it makes the portability of this beauty really stand out. I take it with me when I want to do some light writing or drawing somewhere that would be infeasible to carry something bigger, like for instance, at a sporting event. The thing fits snugly in the pockets of my cargo shorts (or in my girl's fanny pack). For under $200, I'd be hard pressed to think of a purchase that has provided me more value.

This is a very good table for lite usage. The fact that one can use Android and Linux apps on it make it a very attractive tablet.The screen is gorgeous and the keyboard is usable. Overall it is a well made table and at this price point you cannot go wrong.

I first wanted to buy samsung galaxy tab s7 because of the specs, than made a research about chromebook, and figured out it is amazing. Lenovo duel chromebook is probably the best price for value device in the category. It does everything an android tablet can, with a much faster and useful ChromeOs. Battery lasys for a long time.

This little device has become my stand alone "get things done" either as a second screen, entertainment, or as a tablet for teaching remotely. While the processor can lag a bit as the mediatek series has some power, it's not the end all be all of powerhouses. Due to this, it's worth noting that it will get the job done if you're already in the android/google ecosystem, and works great with most touch items. The only downside that I can see right now is finding the right inexpensive case for it to protect it against accidental drops.
