I can't comment on the "authenticity" of this product. I'm not of any Asian heritage, I'm just some guy in the American midwest.They're just, y'know, dried Thai chili peppers. Good for any recipe calling for Thai chili flakes or something along those lines. It's a big package, so it should last a good while, unless you're some psychopath eating them as snacks. Oh, yeah, they're pretty hot. Obviously.

It wasn't made clear what strain of dried Thai chili peppers these are, but they seem to be the ones I was looking for. I also like that the package has a "zipper lock". These are yummy! I have already used them in several meals and am looking forward to making more concoctions with them...

I had some fully dried hot red peppers that were thin walled, dark and fully dried. Night these and they were red and flexible- I don’t know if they will last as long.

As an avid home chef, having the proper ingredients to make my recipes is a must. I recently have been recreating the takeout dishes that I love so that I can make them at home. My foray into making my beloved General Tso chicken prompted needing these peppers. I looked everywhere locally, but being in a rural area, options are limited. I came to Amazon to find these. I made my sauce with these and the taste is perfect, if not better than my normal takeout order. The excess I have vacuum-sealed in my pantry in smaller portions for use as needed. I am impressed with the quality and the taste that these produced in my copycat General Tso sauce. The recipe is staying in my rotation. (Now, I just need to find a way to make the sauce in bulk and preserve it. LOL)

I have bought similar products like this at Walmart or my local grocery store, but these here, are HOT🔥🔥🔥! Not just hot, but very flavorful! They're not hard and crunchy like most. They are a true compliment to any spicy dish you may be cooking! A definite winner here!
