Is the brush inside all black as well and the outside I plastic or steel

The brush is in 3 parts: an outer casing, a cylindrical inner bucket, a black handle ending in a tough black and grey brush: all made of tough plastic

Has anyone bought replacement brush and if so, does the brush fit into the lid area ? Any advice would be great.

The replacement brush head comes as one piece with the handle.
