quality
worth more than the price tag, used these for gigging, nice warm tone, great pickups and typical Ibanez quality.not sure why the photos show a gig bag though,it doesnβt come with one.

Fantastic starter bass
Very, very playable out of the box after a tune-up. The action has been set up well and the fretboard is smooth-edged and well finished. In terms of sound, it's rich and full and the easy 3-pot control is simple to use. The finish on the body is absolutely spotless, as is all the hardware. Lead jack is firm, strap posts are also very secure and tidy. I know many bassists will want to swap the strings out first thing but the ones supplied are pretty good, and the tuning is stable. I think it's a really handsome, no-nonsense and high quality beginners bass. Very glad I chose it!

Good Bass
Bought in the black Friday sale for my daughter's Xmas as an upgrade on her Rock Jam starter bass. Really nice quality and was ready to play straight out of the box, just needed a tune but no adjustments. Already have an Ibanez guitar so was confident about the quality and wasn't disappointed.

Looks and sounds the business
The whole family play various instruments (averagely) and have all been interested in bass to add a little gravitas to the jams. Where do you start? There are so many to choose from. I didnt want to break the bank and yet know from experience that if an instrument looks and sounds dodgy, you just don't want to pick it up. I've played Ibanez guitars before and respect the brand so thanks to favourable reviews that this was a good first bass, went for it.I know it shouldn't be about the look but as soon as my daughter opened the box, there was a proper, heart felt wow!! Beautiful clean lines, classic shape and it does NOT look or feel cheap.I've borrowed a 40amp bass amp from a mate and we can't imagine what more we'd be getting if we'd spent another Β£500. There's now a queue as to who gets to use it next!

Great bass for a great price!
Although Ibanez guitars never dissappoint, this definitely holds true in the case of this bass. I am not a bass player but I needed one for recording bass lines for my rock songs and didnt wanna spend a ton. This bass perfectly fit the budget and delivers good tone without busting the bank and ofcourse is quite well built for the price. Deinitely recommend!

Good quality, great tone, very playable, idealy suited for beginner/intermediate player.
I needed a bass guitar purely for recording in an amateur home studio and have always associated Ibanez with quality and reliability and this did not disapoint. The frets were all nicely finished, no rough edges. It has some weight to it but is very comforable to play on my lap while sitting down. I did not need to do much in the way of setting it up, the action, pick-up hight, intonation all seemed spot on straight from the box, didn't even need to change the strings. It has a great tone and there are multiple adjustments that can be made via the tone/volume knobs to taste including pick-up selection. Very pleased with it and this has now become my work horse bass.
