Great to repurpose some former monitors
Been on the hunt for some good adapters for DP to HDMI for a bit. These worked great and now I can repurpose some still-good used monitors for my organization.

It did not meet my expectations
Don't know why this device requires an add-on USB power source but because of that, it did not meet my needs. ALSO, the Amazon Ad shows two devices. When the package arrived, there was only one device. I was misled when I placed my order believing there were two devices which is what I initially wanted. I'm returning the device.

Inherent design flaw
You need to plug this piece of garbage in for it to even work which means the cable for the adapter itself gets in the way of other cables—horrible product.
