Revived the battery on ny truck which was fading from running the security system . Battery was good but had dropped to 9 VDC for lack of use. This thing brought it back up to 11.9 VDC after one good afternoon of sunshine.Very easy to install: suction cup to top of truck, route wire under hood, connect clips to battery post and plug together. Tried lighter plug but on Toyota truck “lighter” auxiliary outlets in cab disconnect with engine off. No worries, battery post clips were big enough, well insulated and worked just fine.Would recommend.

I put a after market motor in my golf cart. So the battery no longer charged. I purchased this to keep the batter charged and mounted to the roof with supplied velcro. Working great so far 3 months later.

UPDATE:So after my not so pleasant experience with the product, I was contacted by the company and after a few email exchanges, photos and explanations, they fully refunded my money even though my return window was past. Just for that I will do business with them in the future if the need arises.So I bought this a month ago as i was leaving my car for that period of time. The batterry was brand new and i connected this and immediately the green light came on and i was pleased by the ease of attaching it to the car battery. Came back home yesterday and the battery was completely dead. The panel still has the green light on. Exactly what is it charging? Irritated! Waste of money

I've been using this for several months to maintain the battery on a older Ford Explorer that isn't driven much. It has sat for months and still will start right up. Before I had this it required charging about once a month. It probably won't charge a dead battery, but it has no problem maintaining one, even during winter. I've bought another as a gift, and recommended it to several people so far.

It works well, seems quality. There was a 5amp fuse in the 12vdc male cigarette plug that I changed to a 1amp due to the fact it's charge is milliamps. Using 1 on the car I don't drive, and 1 on the riding mower. Battery's are 13.8 when ever I check them.

Okay. Real talk. I bought this to keep my car battery charged while I was out of town for 10 days. I needed it because I have an IID (if you know you know lol), and I was told that the IID drains your battery like crazy even when not in use. So, I bought this so I could keep the battery charged and avoid a violation.So I go out of town, and just my luck, hurricane Helene hits (I live on the mid-western coast of FL; Clearwater). So, I'm 1000 miles away from home, and I was FOR SURE this thing would be ruined. (It says it's waterproof, but I mean, we got hurricane force wind and rain, so I wasn't sure it would hold up.)Well, this thing SURVIVED Hurricane Helene! So much rain, so much debris, so much wind... and this thing went right back to charging when the sun came back out.I am so happy I bought this. It held up like a champ. It saved me a violation. It saved me money. It saved me stress. It saved me. I'm keeping it forever, and when it finally dies, I might just shed a tear. this is a fantastic bit of kit especially if you don’t use your vehicle very much or going away for a lengthy period of time. peace of mind knowing you won’t suffer the dreaded flat battery.the charger comes with sturdy crocodile clips to stay secure on the battery terminals and a connector that separates the solar charger from the battery connections.4 suction cups so it stays secure either on a window or clean painted surface.the best part is it still charges through tinted windows, obviously not at full capacity but as my car has tinted rear windows i wanted to see if it worked and it still had an output of around 9 to 10.5 volts so will still maintain some charge in your battery.great bit of kit.

Use it to keep an old car battery charged to operate my automatic chicken gates - works really well. Had it running for several months now and on a problem. Simple and easy to use and saves me having to keep changing the disposable batteries I used to use on each gate.

I got this to charge up my motorcycle that sits there for days or weeks at a time. It has worked so well at trickle charging it, that I'm no longer worried about the bike not starting. Good quality product and arrived fast.

Installed on vehicle that has a slow draw, after a few hours in a moderate light (winter) location It did increase the voltage and total charge of the battery, please note this battery was not depleted (before and after pics), I am dubious about the claimed 8amp charge rate given the size of the panel, but it does genuinely work. It would likely work much better in summer and given full sunlight location. Unfortunately we found the power draw so havnt had an opportunity/need to leave it on the vehicle since testing.
