Are the batteries user replaceable?

Hello, the batteries are replaceable and rechargeable Li-Ion . Hope it helps.

Can this unit can be connected to an external battery pack? Some of the reviews make it sound like that is not an option.

The Taipan has a charging port I don't know why you couldn't use a cable and battery pack, I've used a battery pack on my AGM Adder once.

Does the adjustable objective help clear the image up when you zoom? Have currently have the TM10, zoom sucks with no adjustment.

When zooming it cuts the resolution in half for each zoom. So the focus won't clear that up.
