Yes, it comes with the yellow bat pictured. It is hollow plastic, light enough for little kids to swing easily

Did anyone purchase the 5-ball item and actually received the item with 5 balls, not 2?

There are 5. Two of them were on the tball set when we opened the box. The other three were hidden at the bottom of the box under cardboard.

Will this ball break window? What other safe balls you recommend for kids age 1 - 5

I cannot help you here. My Grandboys are 3 and 18 months, so they cannot hit the balls hard enough to get it near any windows. The balls are plastic, and I am not certain they could break a window, however, I also know that there can be breakage if hit just right (I know of a window that was broken by a small bird flying into it).

I know this says ages 18 mos - 6 years....is it really good for a 5 or 6 year old?
