Budget winner for VR and AR!
For the price, this is the best headset around.Coming from the original rift and the quest 2, this is a step up in visual fidelity and wireless game streaming from steam link. The AR capabilities are great, you see your true surroundings with decent cameras built in to the headset and then the graphics are added to your true environment in almost real-time.The head strap isn't the most comfortable, but it works and there are many third party selections to change it.The battery life is better than my quest 2 as well.TL;DR - If you have only $300, this is a smart purchase, If you can afford the standard Quest 3 with the new lenses and better clarity, maybe choose what is your priority.

Awesome technology & very fun to play with!! Get one!!
Awesome product, so glad I got it! Very cool technology, I like that it has a remote desktop as that is so useful when I am working on projects for work & the games are fun! I for sure recommend this as it's fun, useful, and is so worth the price!

If you want to use for more than an hour at a time, prepare to buy a head strap.
The only problem is that now I wish I had joined the vr revolution sooner. Very good product, a somewhat good ecosystem with tons of apps and things to do. It's comfortable for light use but need a custom strap for long term usage. Good for all family, the kids love to play all sort of games in it.

This thing is so cool.
My son is obsessed with this thing. He really has a lot of hours in on it and it has held up to his use. He travels with it and plays it daily, and has had no issues with defective or cheaply constructed equipment. Everything is holding up to his use level. He is a happy kid. Great purchase.

Great VR Headset with a Few Limits for Me
I’ve been using the Meta Quest 3S for a little while now, and overall it’s a fantastic headset. The visuals are sharp, the sound is immersive, and the tracking feels really natural. I especially enjoy using it for meditation apps the sense of presence makes it so much easier to disconnect from stress and focus on calming environments. That being said, I do have to limit my time with it. After long sessions I sometimes experience vertigo, so I’ve learned to use it in shorter bursts instead of hours at a time. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to motion.Even with that drawback, I think it’s a solid piece of tech that delivers on both entertainment and relaxation. For the price, it’s a great way to step into VR you just might want to pace yourself.

Wow!
Really cool! My kiddo loves it. The battery does drain kind of fast though.

quest 3s in my opinion is a good vr headset
I’ve used the quest 2 for years and I finally decided to upgrade to the quest3s. its an improvement but Graphic wise it’s somewhat similar to quest 2 like fov is the same but there are some visuals improvements but the quest3s does feel faster and the color pass through is actually pretty nice. The controls do feel better though with stronger haptic and without the ring like on the quest 2 it’s not so bulky. The headset itself is pretty similar in weight with quest2 but the head strap is still pretty bad. One key thing that kinda bothers me Is that they removed the headphone jack. Would I say you should upgrade to the quest3s sure the hardware is technically better and to me it seems faster then the quest 2. For someone who’s new to vr and wants to get an affordable headset definitely I think this is your best bet.
