Are this ankle supports slim enough to use with soccer cleats?

I don't play soccer. Not sure how it will work with soccer cleats. It works great when I play tennis. I feel my ankle protected. You can order it and try at home. If not work with soccer cleats, you can return it by the required date.

My ankle measures 21 cm or 8 1/4 in I’m right in between a small or medium. Do they run small? What size should I get?
