These are fun and great for a quick boost of my hair style. Nice colors. Easy to apply. While I slept on it and my pillow case remained clean, it washed off easily in the shower.Just wish they came in more colors for dark hair.

Once it dries and you are ready to brush your hair and style it you definitely need to be standing over a sink or bathtub because it does flake off. It doesn't remove the color it's just extra that was caked on when applied. If you do this with a good shirt on or sitting on a bed it will mess up the Fabrics in may or may not come out. I put blue and some spots and then purple and some spots and massage it in and it came out with a great look!

Huge hit! My 13 year old daughter has very dark hair, and she has loved this product. It did stain a bathroom rug, so remove things like that before starting. Color remained in hair until.she washed her hair.

I have long wanted to try a non-natural color in my hair such as a blue streak, but at 54 I did not want to be stuck with anything, so this product seemed ideal to try. A friend of mine was looking for something similar for his dark hair, so I tested it specifically on a part of my hair that had no grays yet. I was quite confused by the description and directions, since it said no gloves necessary but also said no contact with skin; I used gloves. I followed the directions and started with applying a dime-sized amount to a strand of dark hair. When that did not show, I added the same amount again. Still no luck, or perhaps I could see the barest glint when the light hit it just right. I wanted it brighter, much more like the color in the tube and on the braids of a couple of the hair models, so I glopped a bunch more on and worked it through my hair. At this point it did show, although still not as much as I would have liked, so I pinned it so it would not touch my clothing and let it dry. Once dry the hair was stiff and matted, so I combed it to separate it and make it softer again - AND ALL THE COLOR CHIPPED RIGHT OUT ONTO THE COMB AND THE HAIRS THAT WERE PULLED OUT BECAUSE THE HAIR MAKEUP WAS SO STIFF AND STICKY! There was no color that I could see left on my head, although there might be just a little there because that hair still feels somewhat stiff. Apparently this only works when you have your hair styled in such a way that you do not need to comb it once the color is applied, which I never do. It might work for my friend though, as I don't know if he would comb his beard to get rid of the stiffness.

Most of the color stayed on my gloves and not the hair. If you have longer hair expect to use an entire tube for one application because you need to build up coverage. The sheer amount of product needed to give a hint of blue is way too much. Applied to medium brown hair (level 4) and it turned color darker but very little if any blue tones. Came out green on blonde hair, and was not visible on black hair. Color lasted about an hour then it looked like it had no color - literally the color disappeared.Waste of money - try a better product.

Shows up on jet black hair but it makes my hair feel chalky. I sprayed my hair with water and then used it.

I was surprised that the color showed up on my dark brown, thick, natural hair. It was very easy to apply and didn't cause a mess. I put it on a few sections before twisting my hair, let it air dry and when I undid my twists it added a great pop of color throughout my hair. I do not wash my hair everyday and this lasted about 3 days before it started to fade.
