Piaa5372 530 LED Driving Lamp Kit, white

Bought these to replace the fake 15W "fog" lights on a 2003 Thunderbird. These PIAA 530 leds are BRIGHT, probably as bright or brighter than the high beams and do a nice job of lighting up the distance ahead and road signs. I can see why PIAA says to only use them with high beams, but being mounted low in the bumper, they do not seem to bother oncoming traffic. Time will tell how durable they are. Because this was a custom installation, some slight modification was needed to the factory lamp openings to fit these in and I had to make custom brackets to hold them in place. I also did not use the supplied wiring as the car already has a wiring harness for the fake lights and I used that. Drawing less power than the factory bulbs, meant no concern with overheating the circuit. Good thing, because my only complaint is that after buying through Amazon Warehouse Deals, what I was shipped was obviously a returned product with the supplied wiring already cut and modified by someone else - something more than just cosmetic damage that was not stated.

Well, installed these, and we are very happy with them so far. The mounting bracket does swivel, and while it is a little different from the non LED lights we were using, they really were not much trouble to install. Lights are bright, they do the job we needed, and working great! Waited until we used them before putting out a review, and glad to say, it's all good!

LOVE is a strong statement so that is why only the four stars. I also have the fog lights. Amazing how the light patterns are manipulated by the reflector design. My main concern was the amount of amperage being drawn vs the amount of light actually "thrown". Considering the very low power draw, there is plenty of "white" light. So much so that the driving light pattern can be quite annoying to oncoming traffic. I would buy another set for another vehicle...

More pricy than some LED's but look way better on my bike as well. Harness and switch no good to me for a bike install, but seem decent quality, especially the wiring harness and fittings. These wont outperform good halogen lights, but hey won't ruin your bike stator either. All who see think it compliments the suzie c90 well.

i put a pair of these on windshield mounts on my jeep. they throw a pretty decent amount of light a good distance with a nice tight beam pattern. i wouldn't say they compare to a 55w h3 but they put light exactly where you need it and use very little current. please note it is a driving light which is meant to supplement high beams not a flood light or a fog light

Order three sets, one set was 9.4w that came defective one light was dimmer.....package said 2016.the other two sets package said 2011 with 3w per light , which are the older models. called PIAA to confirm and returned all three sets........look for package that has 2016 on the box they are newest one from PIAA . YOU PAY GOOD MONEY!!! YOU SHOULD GET GOOD LIGHTS!!!!I ended up purchasing PIAA 530 ION DRIVING LIGHTS, very satisfied w/ the lights.....and the package said 2016.

It took a couple hours to install but only because I'm somewhat anal retentive about how electrical items get wired into my bike. I used a relay tied to the high beam so that they lights only come on when the high beams are on. The very white light has an extremely long reach the way I have them adjusted and a very sharp cut-off on the vertical (pretty wide beam on the horizontal). Very effective during the day to make sure I'm visible to motorists. I also used the PIAA mounts and they are GREAT! The only reason they get a 4 instead of a 5 is that with the dropping prices on high power LED's, these prices (while low in comparison to other sources) still seem to be too high.
