White Mountain Puzzles The Movies 1000 Piece Puzzle

Gift for Christmas as my husband particularly likes this type of jigsaw and has a few now some of which have been done several times. Always know you’re getting a nice quality with white mountain brand. Keep the selection coming!

The joys of Covid19. With kids at home and trying to work at home myself, I decided it was necessary to pull out old school activities to keep the little monsters occupied in a quieter way that was also a break away from their addictive and mind numbing screens, computer games, phones etc. This puzzle had been lying upstairs for a few months, bought for me as a gag gift because I am a movie fan. It was quickly repurposed. At first the kids moaned and acted like the puzzle was a punishment. I was actually a little embarrassed that I had to explain puzzle making etiquette to get them to start by sorting the edge pieces first and then dividing by colour etc. The things this generation has lost. Anyway, they eventually really got into it. After 3 days work the kids had put it together and then came the part where they asked who or what different scenes in the puzzle were about. This had the happy side effect of leading to family movie nights where we would watch what they called "class" "old people" films. They really got a buzz from them and I enjoyed sharing Gremlins etc. with them.So impressed with their work on the puzzle it was sealed in clear sticky plastic and now hands on their wall while they now begin work on the best of the 90s 1000 piece puzzle. I hope to get them watching rugrats with me next. :)

Lovely jigsaw. Easy to do, family fun.Took under a day to complete. Really good quality pictures.

This will take us a while to complete, as it's much more intricate than I expected. Love the huge variety of films offered, which leads to good discussions, but the picture is rather small, so it can be hard to spot the details.

Great but very pricey for what it is

After reading all the hype about White Mountain Jigsaw Puzzles, I decided to buy one.I'm not sure if this was a "genuine" White Mountain product.The puzzle pieces were really large, they were thin, and after completing, the edges , it was so big it didnt fit my board.After paying £24.99 for it I was hugely disappointed.I returned it.

Counterfeit product. Bad scan on original. Horribly pixellated and not even original box. Came in a white cardboard box with the cover image printed (again badly) on a piece of paper included in box. Stay away from seller. COUNTERFEIT.
