Alkaline Based Drain Cleaner - Thrift Drain Cleaner Case of 24 1Lb Granular - Thrift T-100

This drain cleaner was recommended to me by my plumber. He uses it with all of his clients. I tried several other drain cleaners before calling my plumber, but nothing worked. Thrift worked right away. I am on a regular maintenance plan now that my plumber set up for me. I have recommended it to both of my daughters for their homes. I purchased a case of it .

This stuff is great for unclogging or keeping drains cleaned but you have to be careful when using and keep it at arms length so that you do not breath it in and use with hot water when pouring down the drain. It beats having to call a plumber!

I am a maintenance technician who manages a lot of buildings. I use Thrift every two-four weeks as a drain maintainer in restroom sinks, break room sinks and shower drains. I also use it as home as well. Stuff works great. Be careful while handling it and read the direction carefully as it can be dangerous if used irresponsibly.

Thus stuff is great, but I disagree with the fume free. While I didn't notice a smell, it does look like smoke and I didntvwantvto breath it in. So take precautions. This solved my washing machine drain problem in 10 minutes mow I do it every couple of months for maintenance. It doesn't leave a residue in the sink either!

8 Bottles in this case were open and had spilled all over the inside of the box. Not really something one should be handling to try and clean up but too expensive not to.

This looked and sounded like another product I've used a lot in the past, but this stuff took at two bottles if not three to clear a bathroom drain clog, hardly worth it even at the low price.

this is the best drain opener, period. one jar is much better than a gallon of the gel stuff. one tip, don't stay in the room when it's in use, the fumes are significant.
