For a size 8.5 should I order 38/39 or 37/38? Both say they fit a 8.5?

I would probably go with 38/39 to give you a little more wiggle room especially if you plan on wearing the insoles and compression socks

What is the exchange policy if the shoes does not fit? I am a 6.5 and would like to get it with the insoles. Should I order 34/35 women or 35/36 women

Order up if you’re a half size. Im 8.5 and 37-38 is always too small. I wear 38-39.

I haven't seen them in stores unforunately, but I rarely go in medical supply stores. Since I have had Plogs in the past I was comfortable buying them. Also, Amazon is great about returns so I didn't worry if they didn't fit. This company has their own website. I'm sure they can answer. The price was the same as Amazon when I purchased, so I just ordered from Amazon. Hope this helps.
