My spouse is from KY and was missing country ham. I bought the 2 pack it was the perfect portion for 1 hungry person plus some leftovers. It was a hit and declared as good as they remembered from holidays in Kentucky. Not too salty and definitely not a sweet taste, despite sugar as an ingredient, thin cut but not paper thin. Will buy again for my Kentuckian.

Very Good Ham!
Very good Country Ham and perfect single serve size. I love Country Ham but to those who aren't familiar with it, it's much saltier and chewier than regular "City" ham.

Extremely salty even for country ham.
The country ham biscuit cut is only 3 ounces so it is expensive. The worse thing is that it is so salty it tastes like brine. Not eatable. So order Penn ham directly from the company. Truly good ham.

Now This Is Truly Salty Ham
Not being a familiar with Southern Country Ham I was blown away with the massive saltiness of this meat. First test hope I did not rinse or simmer in water as suggested by seller. Second time I will try a rinse and update my review. Other than the extreme salt the little ham slices are pretty nice with only one gnarly bone chunk to upset my teeth. Smells a little odd. Not a very thrifty treat.
