I wear corrective lenses and if I plug my nose underneath the face part the air will be re - directed up into ur glasses, causing fogging. So YES if u cover the nose

Good for cold weather but it would be way too hot for sun protection.

Can the fabric around the visor section stretech comfrtably down to expose nose and mouth?

Yes, I wear it under my helmet while riding my motorcycle with glasses on and I have to pull it down below my nose to keep them from fogging up.
