I bought this to replace the stock battery for my dyson animal. Worked great. I did notice a longer battery life than the original. Worth the purchase if your sick of your battery going out on you too quick.

I would not recommend this item at all. To begin with, the receptor on the battery that accepts the charger was a little too tight so when I first charged it overnight and went to use it the next morning, it was not charged at all because the contacts did not connect. I wiggled it when connecting next and had to remember to do that each time. And because of the tightness of the charger fitting, removing the vacuum from the charging base was always extra work. This resulted in the sheetrock anchors for the charging base coming loose. Still, it seemed worth putting up with all this due to the cheap price. Now, however, just 6 months later, the batter will no longer accept a charge.

This was the third battery I tried. The other two were sent back within a couple weeks with problems. I have had this one for almost two months and no issues. Ladies and gentlemen we have a winner. Color match is good, the style is the same, battery life is definitely longer and the charge lights are still working.

Died in less than a year

Seems to work so far, have only used a few times so don't know about the longevity.

Buyer beware! I bought this battery in July to replace the original. In September it stopped working and won't take a charge. Just replaced it with a different brand.

This battery is so far very good, glad I got it.

Purchased as a replacement for our hand held Dyson. Works great with a higher capacity
