Sturdy, Spacious, and Simple to AssembleThis ClosetMaid 12-cube organizer turned out to be a solid choice for our storage needs. The unit is surprisingly sturdy once put together and can hold a good amount of weight without bowing. I like that it can be positioned vertically or horizontally depending on the space, which makes it versatile for both a living room or a closet. The white finish has a clean, simple look that blends well with different room styles.Assembly was straightforward with clear instructions; it took me about an hour working at a steady pace. All the pieces lined up properly, and I didn’t have any trouble with missing parts. Once set up, the cubes are roomy enough for bins, books, or even folded clothes, and it helps keep things looking tidy instead of cluttered.Something to keep in mind is that, while it’s sturdy, it’s still particleboard — so it’s best for lighter items or evenly distributed weight. amazing big and very heavy, its particle board and cheaper, but for something thats not full real wood it doesnt feel like particle board its super sturdy and heavy. its simple to put together very deep for the price as well its like 1ft by 1ft on the bigger end. screws and alignment are excellent the guidlines make it so easy to put together

THIS... is the ClosetMaid 9-Cube organizer and it is a great addition to any room for those that don't want a dresser or like the cubie-style storage. I found that this took me about 30-45 minutes to put together and involved little to no cussing as it was quite easy and straightforward. You can modify it to remove a shelf from a cubie if you want to have a section two tall but you can't do two wide unless you turn it in which you can do two wide but not two tall.Assembly was easy, however, you will need a hammer for the cardboard to go onto the back and an electric drill would speed this process up significantly. Outside of that, you only need a minor working area of about 4 feet by 4 feet.The finished product is also quite nice and fits the amazon basics storage cubes or any 10.5" cube. There are caps to go on the screws so you can cover them up but I like a flush look and left them off. These cubies are also able to hold a decent amount of weight and hold about 30 lbs in one of them every day with zero sag or cracking.In the end, this has been a really nice addition to my bedroom and provides clean, aesthetic storage for my cubies. I think that if you appreciate the color, then the price and value is certainly there. I love this product, and I am certain that if you purchase it, you will share my same thoughts!

So perhaps I am bring critical with my review here. There are some concerns and cons to this shelf, it isn't perfect. But it is decent for the price, which is relatively cheap.Pros:-Price-Easy Assembly-Variety of colors and sizes to choose from-StackableCons:-There are little plugs to cover screws. Plugs don't fit nicely in the screws.-11 x 11 cubes fit almost too snugly and it is difficult to remove fabric cubes because of how tight they fit-I dislike the backing. It is cardboard which is cheap, but I wish it just slid in a track down the back side of the unit. Instead they give you a million little nails, and you need to be careful that the nails are lined up correctly while you hammer each nail in. It is tedious, easy to hammer the screws in unevenly and ruin the flimsy particle board.- came with a few areas that looked like they were already chipping. I kept the unit anyway because it wasn't very noticable.It is a decent looking storage unit, but could be better. The price does make up for the small quality issues as these shelves are really cheap. But the hand off for them being so cheap, is that they probably won't last more than a year to two.

Easy assembly, good quality, noce product.

I bought this to replace the same item I bought in December 2023 because the first one got ruined by a plumbing issue that soaked the carpeting underneath it for a long time before we noticed it. The original one was great (good condition and went together well), but this one was unbelievably bad. I am very experienced with assembling this kind of furniture (I’ve put together well over 50 cabinets and shelving units over the years). I should have returned it, but it’s big and heavy (for me these days) and I just really wanted my living room back together. This unit is mostly stabilized by short dowel pieces — 24 all together, but the holes were too small to push them into. I don’t recommend it, but I used a hammer to get the dowels in and other shenanigans to keep adding sections since you couldn’t possibly slide it together as the instructions pictured. The worst part was they tell you to put the dowels into the top and bottom pieces and then push that onto the vertical shelf dividers, but most of the dowel length needs to go down into the too-small holes in the dividers so when I tried putting enough force on the outside to get it on, instead of the dowels going down into the holes in the dividers, one of them pushed a big hole up through the outside of the shelf. If you build this, pound the dowels into the dividers first, then put the top and bottom on. That will now be the bottom of the unit, though I had intended it to be the top as it had fewer obvious flaws (scuffs and nicks of color missing) than the other piece. All in all, totally disgusted. If you have another option, get that instead.
